With a weight less than 2kg it is an ideal travelmate for demanding purposes. This is a lightweight mat which will provide a firm, even surface over uneven floors. We would recommend beginners practise on a classic yoga mat before progressing to this mat - which requires a period of 'wearing in' practice.
