Review: Product ! - Good overall ! Review: protect your gear - I purchased 2 of the Furman PL-Pro C 20 amp power conditioner to protect a rack full of audio/video equipment. The equipment is on a university campus with questionable power. After an outage, planned or not, when the power comes back on, they usually hit it hard about 3 times. This sends 3 surges which will sometimes take out whatever equipment you have connected, unless you have protection, or your power strip/surge protector is turned off. The Furmans will take care of that, but sometimes the power will take them out. That is what happened to my 30 amp Furman. Since they no longer have a 30 amp, I installed these 2 20 amp models. They work great. Their on/off switch is protected so it won't accidentally get bumped and turned off. They have the customary pull out lights for using on darkened stages so you can see other equipment. There are plenty of places to plug in equipment and a mix of standard NEMA 5-15 and NEMA 5-20 receptacles, both of which I needed. I expect to have these in use for many years to come. They are not cheap, at $350 each, but when they are protecting over $40,000 worth of equipment, they are well worth the price. ## Features - 9 outlets with dual retractable LED lights. Segmented LED voltmeter monitors and displays incoming line voltage - Furman's exclusive SMP technology provides the highest level of surge & spike protection available - Isolated outlet banks minimize inter-component interference and noise contamination - Perfect for instrument rigs, home recording, DJ equipment, pro audio rigs and home entertainment systems ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001JJQTQA | | Amperage | 20 A | | Best Sellers Rank | #37,353 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #39 in Power Conditioners | | Brand | Furman | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | [Laptop, Personal Computer, Monitor, Router, Smartphone, Small Appliance] | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 21 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Stainless Steel | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00654061027997 | | Item Type Name | Power Conditioner | | Item Weight | 15 pounds | | Manufacturer | Furman Pro | | Maximum Current | 20 A | | Mfr Part Number | PLPROC | | Model Number | PL-PRO C | | Number of Outlets | 9 | | Number of Ports | 9 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Surge Protection | | Plug Type | Type B | | Power Plug Type | Type B - 3 pin (North American) | | Shape | Rectangle | | Special Feature | Surge Protection | | Surge Protection Rating | 20 A | | Total Power Outlets | 9 | | Total Usb Ports | 1 | | UPC | 654061027997 700315927916 | | Unit Count | 9 Count | | Voltage | 120 volts | | Warranty Description | 5 year limited warranty. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Furman - **Color:** Black - **Special Feature:** Surge Protection - **Total Power Outlets:** 9 - **Voltage:** 120 Volts ## Images ![Furman PL-PRO C 20 Amp Advanced Level Power Conditioner - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-JL3dFf5L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Product ! *by D***N on July 4, 2026* Good overall ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ protect your gear *by R***N on February 27, 2014* I purchased 2 of the Furman PL-Pro C 20 amp power conditioner to protect a rack full of audio/video equipment.
