Disagree with those who gave it anything less than 4stars
For those of you who gave this compilation anything less than 4stars you guys are insane! The opening of Eddie's CD did sound a bit different than his usual, track1 by Pryda was very progressive and uplifting, yet upbeat like his some of his usual tempos. The middle part starting from Deadmau5's GhostsNStuff with all the little short Eddie's ED-ITs bits and pieces makes it sound almost like Breaks and Dub-Step style music unlike his trancey tracks. His Ed-It of John O-Callaghan's Broken is simply amazing, very euphoric and trancey. All in all I'd give Eddie's CD 4/5. Now comes the insane dutchman Sander van Doorn. Nothing to say about his compilation, probably one of his best compilations to date (I was in Ibiza the summer 2009 when he featured an ALMOST identical mix set live, which blew me away!) Buy this compilation! Highly recommended for you progressive, tech/hard trance lovers out there!

Un-decided
Still in the process of taking this one in.The problem I have with the Cream Ibiza range is that the first one I ever purchased was Eddie Halliwell's 2006 effort on holiday in San Antonio, Ibiza. That album really set the standard. It was awesome! And I'm afraid to say none of them have really reached that level since...Perhaps this ones a grower, but I was distinctly disappointed on first listen. There were no real outstanding tracks, and after a while they seemed to blur into one long tune, with no real high points, which is unusual for Eddie. All in all, nice to add to the Cream collection, but it won't be top of the pile.

Superb!
If your expecting the usual hard trance style that Eddie is famous for, then this probably isnt for you. I personally however think its brilliant. Much more progressive than usual even bordering on electro house to begin with, but he gets to showcase his phenomenal djing skills - his ed-it of Seb Legers 'majestic' being the perfect example. The Sander Van doorn cd is also very good too. I havent listened to anything else since I bought this. It reaffirms Eddie Halliwell as the worlds best dj in my opinion.

2009 saved by Eddie Halliwell and Sander Van Doorn
Firstly I'm suprised that there hasn't been more reviews for this album. Lets be honest 2009 hasn't seen the greatest dance albums so far and its a breath of fresh air to hear what Eddie and Sander have done with this mix. This CD is huge with some massive tunes it is a MUST for all dance music fans. The dissapointing Global mix CD has been blown out of the water and although the summer may look like its coming to an end this will bring it all back! Go get it!
