My Search Is Over
Snug, comfortable, and great sound due to the perfect thickness and shape of the point. I may run hot water over it to open it up a bit but the shape is perfect. Many, many other thumb picks seem to be shaped wrong and dig into my thumb with their odd angles. Not these. Finally .. the perfect thumb pick.

Guitar picks? Great! No guitar cord as promised. Not so much!
Getting the thumb picks was great. Not getting the guitar cord that I bought what was supposed to be delivered today kind of suck though.

Good Thumb pick
This has the nicest profile of any thumb pick I've tried so far. I'm using these for country blues and ragtime on an acoustic, and the pick sticks out enough to be easy to pluck strings without getting in the way when you change positions. It works OK for picking single note runs, but doesn't excel in that application.I had to soak mine in hot water for a minute to soften it up and fit it to my thumb, as it was initially too small. After enlarging it a bit, it fits very comfortably.

These Golden Gate picks are worth a try
I'm an autoharp player. Let me tell you, friends, autoharps are MURDER on finger and thumb picks. You really have to dig for good bass respons. So far, these thumb picks have taken any punishment I dish out. They sound good without a lot of pick noise.I haven't had them very long, but they are showing no signs of wear. Every other type of thumb pick I've tried has shown evidence of wear at or before this time period. They are thicker than most other picks and the material they're made of doesn't click and clack when contacting the strings.I thought they were a little pricey when I saw the ad, but, so far, I'd say I got my money's worth.I bought the medium size. For me, they're a little tight, but I can play really hot thumb leads and they don't come off. But they are a bit tight. I think a large size wouldn't stay put. I may risk heating one of them to see if I can open it up a bit, but I don't want to degrade the plastic. All in all, I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone who needs to really pick hard and fast.

Not Large Enough
My friend and guitar student has a large thumb and is just getting into Travis picking. I bought these for him because they were indicated as being large. These are very close to the same size as a medium size National thumb pick so I'll just keep them for myself. More of a waste of time than a waste of money.

Best Thumb Pick I've Ever Found
5 stars 100% no doubt.I'm six-string electric guitar player since about age 5. I've used thumb picks through the years, though always went back to small very heavy 1.5mm picks (they're called Cool Picks and I do love those too, they're great) .These thumb picks really were the game changer though because they just feel so darn good, tone is amazing, and I just couldn't get myself to want to take it off and play with that flat pick. So I've just been honing my style once again and playing quite a mix of classic rock and country particularly on the Tele with these... my NEW favorite pick... I recommend them for any and every guitar, steel, banjo... anything I think they'd be great...

Small for sure!
I have mediums from another brand and they're too big for me (I'm small! 5' 125lbs). These are a FRACTION of a mm TOO small, but seeing as how they're probably the only smalls on the planet (I looked, a LOT!) they will do! I just can't wear them for too long. I may try to heat up & open up one of them.

Major upgrade.
For me it's the best thumb pick I use so far (only try 5 differents). Smooth, solid, confortable, nice sound ... what else can you ask.

Amazing, just sand it down
I saw through reading ads, every pick issue was related to its length and fit. Okay, if it fits you, then good. Or try the boiling water trick, and it will fit even better. But what about the pick end shape or length. All very important for string contact, soft or hardness of contact, glide. I achieved this by sanding it to the perfect custom shape for my playing. If I change my mind, perfect, i will continue refining the shape for my playing. I got four in this pack and it cost half of the bumblebee.Only issue may be the hard plastic, Nitro cellulose I believe. Some others use Delrin but apparently that although softer contact to string also wear out fast. But you also get several and who cares, you could just use them up.So I would conclude these picks are an excellent viable option, just customize. You may be disinclined to customize the bumblebees due to cost and there is less material to sand down to shape on those. But if i decide I want a softer clang against the string, I may try adding thin one layer hockey tape on contact area on these picks. Because it apears the custom shape of the tip that hits the strings is more important than the material which is of relatively similar hardness to the bumblebee. This is an honest review. Will update over time.
