This sanitizer increases the pH level in swimming pool water. Aids in preventing staining, scaling, clouding and balances pool water. Keeping proper pH levels will help ensure pool sanitizers are working at maximum efficiency. Compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone and biguanide sanitizers as well as salt water pools. Applications when pH falls below 7.2, while the pump is in operation distribute pH up into the deep end of the pool. For every 10,000 gallons of water add the following amounts, 1-pound when pH is below 6.6, 3/4-pound when pH is between 6.6 and 7.0, 1/2 pound when pH is between 7.0 and 7.2. Product contain 1-pound. Includes 12 pieces per pack.

Good product for a spa.
I have used this product in the past. I don’t know if something has changed in the formula... it seems to be taking a lot of this product to move the ph in my hot tub.It is fast to dissolve so it works well in the hot tub.

Use spa chems for the spa, don't use pool
The headline is a rule that I learned to live by. Pool chemicals don't always "melt" in the spa, and I have more of them in my filter. I've used a couple of other brands, but I always seem to come back to Rendezvous.
