To be honest I don’t usually give really negative results on amazon I do try to be as honest as possible.That was until I received this ‘thing’. I was disappointed right from the start when it came in the original box unsealed, and there were no directions inside which led me to believe that it must have been a returned item.I found a review of a comparable item on youtube Which was ‘Yummy can potatoes'.This was obviously the same item in the same box but with a different name (as a comparison will clearly show).So, I tried my potato on the same instructions, and the instructions I found on youtube. The results were a complete disaster. When it says “Fluffy every time” on the box this was a complete misnomer. My trials (at different timings) were all wizened up spuds that went straight into the bin. Not fluffy at all.Also, more worryingly, when you unlock the clips, the top doesn’t separate easily from the base without a lot of messing about, this resulted in one hand being doused with red hot steam. This is not only unacceptable it is also dangerous.I just wanted to try out potatoes steamed in the microwave with something purpose-built for the task. This is not it! My honest advice save your money and don’t bother. It will be returned immediately after the weekend.
