Autocool Solar Power Car Fan, Black,

This is useless! It took forever to arrive and it finally got here 2 weeks ago, it took me a few minutes to get the rubber strips cut and fitted correctly per directions. I took it off while driving and put it on when I got to the commuter train station, again per directions. I felt absolutely no difference when I got back at the end of the day. It was easy to take off but someone hard to put on the window. You have to work the window into the groove of the rubber which are very stiff. There are two strips to put on, one on each side of the fan. Over the weekend, I put the fan on while the car was in my driveway and kept an eye on it, it was 90 degree plus outside, I expected it to run constantly since my car doesn't have tinted windows yet it never came on at all, either on Saturday or Sunday. Overall, I wish I'd have saved my money.

This didn't really work in my window as well as others I've gotten, so was a little disappointed in it. The idea is good and maybe others will have better luck making it work. I won't say I don't recommend it; it just didn't do well in my car.

First, I did not realize that the item was shipping from overseas so it took a while before I received it. Once I had the item and tried it out I was extremely disappointed. The item worked as it stated it would, by solar power, but I could have had a stronger breeze blowing on my own arm. There was no force of wind at all that emanated from it and it did not cool down any area of the car nor circulate any air in the vehicle. This was a very poor purchase and I would not order anything like this again. If you are thinking of buying this item do not waste your money.

Didn't fit to my van and so wasn't useful for me but I'm sure someone else would like it

It didn't fit well with my window so I didn't use it as much as I wanted to

The weather stripping supplied to form a fit on top of the window is a very low quality rubber, difficult to install and in my case, refuses to stay on the window.

Ok, so assume the angle of your door/window are such that in direct sunlight, the solar panel gets enough juice to power the fan, it doesn't move enough air to have any affect on temperature. It moves SO slowly, even under direct light that even placing a hand right in front of the vent, one will be hard pressed to feel a breeze.As it is, due to the way the solar panel is placed, when my car was in direct sunlight, the fan would not operate.Worthless.

I guess it works ok, but I can't use it on my car. It had tinted windows when I got it and the fan won't work with them.
