The wildflowers in Ireland are amazing and I wanted to know them by sight. This book has been quite helpful.

An excellent book, truly excellent. It's often difficult to find natural history reference books that deal specifically with Ireland rather than mention it as an aside when dealing with Britain and/or Europe. This book ticks that box for wildflowers but not only that, it is extremely well written and has many fine photos. Would definitely recommend.

I really like the size of this book very portable but not to small to use effectively when viewing photos. Another thing I really enjoy is that the various wildflowers are grouped in colour keys primarily then by flower type; cluster, 4 petal, 5 petal, etc etc. This makes it really handy and intuitive when you want to find a wildflower quickly provided it is covered in the guide.High recommended

This is a great book for identifying wild flowers. It cleverly puts together the flowers in colour groups so that it is quick and easy to find what you are looking for and then it will list a number of flowers for which it is often mistaken.Well thought out little book which is just small enough to fit in a jacket pocket.Top marks.

Terrific book with great photos. Just poor quality cover with lining peeling off before it even arrived.
