Vegetable Peeler Zinc Alloy Fruit Peeler Stainless Steel Blades Super Sharp Serrated Shape Durable Non-Slip Silicone Handle

I am a chef and I use a peeler several times a day for various fruits and vegetables. I am a fan of the y-shaped design with serrated blades, so I thought I had found a good product, since this certainly looks solid. Boy was I wrong. Fresh out of the box, it worked okay. The serrated blades had too sharp of points, so it kept getting snagged on the food I was peeling. Especially on softer foods like mangos. After the blade got "broken in," the cut became much smoother. However by week two the blade started to pop out of the handle during use. Blade comes out, pop it back in, keep going. After the third time the blade feel in the trash can while peeling 8 potatoes, I threw the handle in after it.

The peeler is narrow Coupled with a very very thin metal blade If you were depressed down to hard you would bend it.Just to clarify I'm not talking about cutting-edge But the entire metal blade. The handle went last forever but the bladeNot so much.

Handle is good quality, the peeler bar has some rust, at this price it should not get any rust.I really wanted a classic peeler the kind that fits in my palm, this peels nice but it is not like my great grandmas.

I thought I was getting a good prduct as I needed this to peel large vegetables and fruit such as butternut squash and papaya after only about 25 uses the blade came off and wont go back on. very sharp while it lasted but no good as a kitchen tool. Im very disapointed I do not recommend.

Inlcuded this as part of the gift to many of our family members, while visiting them during vacation. And got one for myself after coming back too. While using it for the first time itself on potatoes, the blade came off; put it back hoping it would be fine. The next day while peeling carrots, it kept coming off.Good to give as a gift as far as the packaging is concerned ...

This is actually a beautiful and quality kitchen tool. It has a very nice, substantial weight which I think gives better control. And it peels right through whatever I need without the constant clogging of the cheap old school peeler.

Great peeler, almost too good so need light touch generally.

Im very disappointed. The blade fell off the handle on the third use. It was fine while it worked, but now i cant peel a thing without the blade popping off.. it's useless.
