So easy to use and pretty too!
I love it! I'm new to making my own matcha and this kit has everything you need. The glaze on the bowl is absolutely gorgeous and looks nice sitting out on my countertop. The whisk is effective and mixes the matcha easily. I really love the stand so that the whisk doesn't get too deformed with use. So far I've used it multiple times and I'm really happy with the results. Much better than trying to prepare it with other bowls and utensils that aren't made for it. Highly recommend!

Not the best quality
This is a nice set for beginners and a good value overall. However, the chasen (bamboo wisk) that comes with this set is very poor quality. I properly bloomed it & softened it in hot water before each use & after less than 5 uses it began to shed little splinters. The chawan (ceramic bowl) is a pretty, a good size, & shape that makes it easy throughly wisk & get a decent microfoam. The pour spout on the chawan makes it easier to pour from. I like that the set comes with a bamboo scoop & a sifter to help measure out & remove any clumps from my matcha before wisking. I also like that the set comes with a chasen-tate (bamboo wisk stand) to help prolong the shape & life of your chasen. Too bad that the chasen itself is such low quality. I definitely recommend buying one that is better quality if you plan to make matcha even semi-regularly. Besides the issues with the chasen splintering, this is a good, functional set for a beginner & all the other components of this set should hold up great over time as long as they are properly cares for. Remember to only rinse your bamboo scoop & chasen with water & never use soap!
