I am pleased to rate this keyboard 5 stars, highlighting its exceptional features and value for money. This keyboard meets four essential criteria for a keyboard in the current market:1. **Sound Quality:** The keyboard is pre-lubricated, which is remarkable considering its affordable price point ($50 with a Prime membership discount). It features a compact design and produces a satisfying sound with each key press. The spacebar is notably stable and does not rattle.2. **Aesthetics:** The keyboard offers a range of color options, including a retro eggshell white that complements various desk settings. The earthy tone of the white color adds a touch of sophistication, while black provides a classic and versatile look.3. **Accessories:** The keyboard includes a braided cable to prevent short circuits, a keycap and switch puller, and hotswappable switches. Additionally, it comes with colorful keycaps to enhance its retro aesthetic. Notably, the keyboard includes a few spare switches in case any of the original ones become damaged or malfunction during initial use or long-term operation.4. **Sturdiness:** The keyboard’s substantial weight and rubber feet ensure its stability and prevent it from slipping on various surfaces.(Additional Features):* **LCD Screen:** The keyboard features an LCD screen that displays GIFs, providing an immersive gaming experience.* **Volume Control and Backlighting Controls:** The keyboard offers independent volume control and backlighting controls, eliminating the need for additional software.* **Keyboard Software:** The keyboard software simplifies the use of macros, key control, and GIFs, enhancing productivity and customization options for gaming and other tasks. In conclusion, the keyboard’s exceptional features and value for money warrant a 5-star rating.

This keyboard deserves WAY more than 5 stars
The media could not be loaded. *This review was written by a huge budget keyboard enthusiast!*This is a mechanical keyboard that comes with a unique retro look. The video is a before and after sound test of lubed vs unlubed. The most exciting part about this keyboard: It has pre-lubed linear POM switches, which is absolutely INSANE for the price. In most cases, if you buy this amount of POM switches it will cost much more than $23.99 (the price it’s currently at). I’ve bought this keyboard twice already and both times nothing was faulty and all the switches worked.Price: The current price of this keyboard is $23.99 which is absolutely mind blowing. I would say everything except for the switches and keycaps costs around $10 or more. That leaves you with $13.99. The switches alone can cost up to $40 or $50, so you’re getting the switches basically for free because the keycaps would cost around $15.Hot swappable: It’s completely hot swappable and not like those keyboards that take your soul out of you to pull out the switches. It supports both 3 pin and 5 pin switches! (Linear POM switches are 5 pin)Keycaps: The keycaps feel pretty cheap, but the cheapest keycaps on amazon can cost less than $15.RGB: The RGB isn’t the best since the keycaps aren’t shine through, but if you get shine through keycaps the RGB is great.Connection: It’s wired, but I connect it with my ipad and it works great. I’m not sure about other devices though.Sound: It sounds pretty good straight out of the box. Lube the switches with Krytox 205g0 and replace the keycaps you’ll have probably the best sounding keyboard you can get for under $50 (I’m not exaggerating). The total, Keyboard + Keycaps + Krytox would add up to at most $50. Nonetheless if you’re a keyboard enthusiast you would already have krytox 205g0 and maybe even better keycaps. Conclusion: GET THIS FRICKIN KEYBOARD! IT’S BETTER THAN MOST $60 60% KEYBOARDS!!!!

Nice keyboard, funny firmware
The switches and keycaps that are included with this keyboard are really nice. Smooth travel, no rattle, and they look and sound great. My problem is that the firmware is... wonky. No matter what color I put the RGB, it always goes back to green. I also have issues with the "FN + i" key combination to turn IJKL into the arrow keys. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... so it's really hit or miss.I ran my usual monkeytype test to see how it feels to type on at 100 WPM and I do enjoy typing on it. It's a nice keyboard, that's for sure... but I don't think I can do without the dedicated arrow keys. Currently the Mountain Everest 60 is on sale for only $3 more and the Everest feels like a premium keyboard, through and through... with separate arrow keys too!
