Why isn’t there a long handled loofah back scrubber that can be easily changed out for a new loofah when the old one has outlived its usefulness. There are cheap ones out there for two dollars with a plastic handle however they are 2 inches shorter do not last nearly half as long.

I order this item because I need a new bath sponge with a long handle. The wood handle looks like the one that someone uses in the luxury hotel/magazine.pros: 1.handle is about 10inches in length. (I measure with a ruler) 2. I like the lattice polyester body, which foaming the soap a lot. (better than the one from 99cent store.) 3. I like the light pink color.cons: 1. I am worried about the wooden handle has water damage in the bathroom over time. 2. price is not very competitive, but I don't want to take my time to look for a pink one in the store.the reason to give five stars is that they packed nicely and I love pink.

I purchased this bath because Walmart doesn't carry the one I usually use. I thought this would be better because of the wooden handle but the "poof" on the end is not sturdy at all. This was purchased not long ago and it is already loosening up and becoming flimsy. Almost double the cost of the Walmart brand one and I like that one better. Live and learn.

I use this scrubber together with another with a sponge head for washing my lower legs and feet. They work well together. The only complaint is that the handle is not very ergonomic. I would recommend rounding the handle slightly and making the indents for finger grips a little deeper. Alternatively use a rubberlike handgrip for it.

It works, but I do find this to be a bit more scratchy than I'm accustomed to. I'm not sure of the material, but it is definitely a denser polymer base that leaves it much less soft than other loofahs I've used.Update: I have to reconsider my original 3 star rating. This thing has entirely changed my bathing habits. I used to put on a decent amount of deodorant because there was always a musky smell still present. With this thing that musky smell was gone, so I started using less deodorant. As such, I have less stains in my shirt from deodrant, and I take a lot more effort to actually smell.I also had fairly consistent bumps on my back and ribs. Not zits and not viewable to the naked eye, but maybe ingrown hairs or something I could feel. They are entirely gone now. I hope this stays in production as I will be buying another one when needed.

I've only had this for a few weeks, I don't use it everyday, and the pouf is already coming apart.

I can remember one of my uncles saying he had never washed his back with soap. He just let the water in the shower hit it while the shampoo ran off his head. Not to worry, he was made fun of for years for it. I bought a couple of these poufs on a handle with the hope they are sturdy and don't come apart. I have been using one for 2 months now with no problems. It lathers well and holds the lather. It's easy to rinse out and it is still attached to the handle. I don't know if you can get these cheaper in stores but it is something I would never think to look for.

I love this product for the following reasons: (1) the main body is made from sturdy wood, and is thus unlikely to break during use; (2) the synthetic "scrubber" does an excellent job of removing oily dead skin, and without irritation; and (3) the "scrubber" holds soap well while scrubbing, but is easily rinsed-out afterwards. It's just what I've been looking for.
