The bag itself is well made but is let down badly by the very short Velcro straps on the underneath which is there to secure to the pannier rack.If you only secure to one rack rail on either side of the bag it means that it becomes unstable when travelling at speed.By saving a few pence on having short Velcro straps they have ruined a nice product and made some customers angry over this. It means that in order to use this bag I have had to buy bungee cords to secure it to the rack since I do not have confidence in the strength of the Velcro straps given that I am securing it to 4 points on the carrier rails. It is major flaw in the product. I may have to buy some Velcro and try some sewing to extend the length of the strap. Really not good enough. After travelling 5 miles with a bungee cord acting as braces - when I removed the bungee cord - the whole unit collapsed off the carrier tray - the velcro which I tried to secure to 4 points on the carrier rails - had become completely loose. The only way that this is going to work is to sew on an additional 4 velcro straps so that there will be six straps in total. I am re-using the velcro straps from a set of kneepad elbow and wrist protectors.A colleague managed to re-strap the bag onto the bike and it seems to work better. But I will only use it with a bungee cord attached since Instill have little confidence in the strength of the straps.

I would have given it 5 stars otherwise as I love the bag (the size and general make and the idea of folded large side pockets that fit my breakfast and lunch and few extra bits) if it wasn't for rather poor quality velcro straps. After a week from using it the straps come undone during the ride (there's only 2 underneath the bag) and on one occasion I found the bag hanging on the side of the rack. I now have to use the arm strap and tie it around the rack and the bag to stop it moving and eventually detaching. It would also be great if it had at least one internal pocket for keys and cards, I sometimes have to get everything out before I can find them as they usually sink to the bottom during the ride. Apart from this, I was pleasantly surprised that not once i have yet been short of space. Good buy, but the velcro system needs looking at to improve the product. Perhaps two additional straps at the front and rear would help.

This bag is so great!! I use it everyday to go to the gym and into town. It's so useful. Can easily fit all my stuff it as it expands. It also works great if I don't want to carry to much as with the strap it's easy to carry round town and looks like a normal bag. Everyone keeps asking me where I got it from.

Was hoping that somehow I'd be able to get this to attach better than some of the other people that have bought this...I haven't. Great bag but if I put something one side it slides over so you need to put something in the other side to balance it out...very disappointed... lovely bag but unless I put a bungee cord across the top it doesn't stay on...have to cycle and every so often check it's still there...shame. wish I'd not bought it.

I bought this bag thinking this could be the solution for carrying things in my daily commute to work. The bag is nice and very roomy.. However, velcro straps are cheaply made and they started falling apart after using the bag for 3 days. I had to return this item as I prefer to have a sturdier bag. I wish the seller decides to do something about improving quality

I agree with others who have reviewed this item, the fastenings could do with being longer as they do not do what they are designed to do, saying that for the price this item is brilliant and if you have straps on your pannier as I do then you wont have any problems.Ideal for nipping down to the shops and bringing back odds and ends, also the colour goes well with my bike as it is graphite dark grey with a flash of red, perfect.

A decent enough bag for the money, hugely improved by adding a hardboard insert for the base, which stiffens it up no end and means that it does not sway from side to side on the rack, as they are prone to do otherwise, using the Velcro fastenings.

Extremely well made and comes with good extras. I carry heavy items and it copes very well, small enough to be easily portable but plenty of room on the panniers for my laptop when needed. The only small slight niggle is that on my item there was no means of attaching the panniers to the frame, easily fixed with a bungee cord. Also copes very well with rain. A bargain!
