While I ordered these with the intent to use them for my plants but my husband has commandeered the majority of them for grilling kabobs. I came home from work one day and the sticks were soaking in water because apparently you have to soak them for a few hours so they don't burn up on the grill. Learned something new. Any way, he made Hawaiian chicken & pineapple skewers and they were delicious. The bamboo sticks survived the grill and they have also helped my plants stand up straighter. Well worth it in my opinion.

These stakes are a great length to serve a purpose while the plant is establishing some stronger roots. They are also sturdy to serve that purpose of holding a plant up. Then you can transfer to a tomato cage etc if that is what you are after. I can use these for some peppers etc that don't grow so crazy

My houseplants had started outgrowing their chopstick stabilizers, so I was in need of something taller. I ordered these 16" bamboo plant stakes, and they work beautifully. They're basically skewers with only one pointy side, but they go in the soil easily and are able to stand upright even after I attach a part of a plant to them. I used twist ties to attach the plants to the stakes, and that worked out well. Well worth the low cost for this pack of 50 sturdy stakes. My plants are happy and look so much more pleasing to the eye.

Theses sticks serve the purpose of holding garden string but they’re not meant for heavy duty gardening usage.
