All I can say is I must have a dog who is so high strung this just didn't make one bit of different for him. I would try it a second time but it's way too expensive for that.

Was hoping for the best, but unfortunately my dogs did not do well with this and had the opposite effect like some reviews have talked about. I have two corgis one has always been anxious and the other is a bit aggressive with her. I was hoping this would calm them both but unfortunately it seemed like it actually made the aggresion worse. It was somewhat gradual so i didnt notice at first. When i did realize i unplugged it and notice it decreased back to her normal shortly after.

I did not use this 24/7 as I was concerned about effectiveness wearing off or my dog getting used to it. He's a special case - on a daily SSRI and his anxiety is greatly reduced. However, during thunderstorms, he's still a basket case and the extra sedatives don't seem to help much. The very first time I tried this diffuser, he calmed immediately. The results were amazing so I continued to use this as needed. If there is an unexpected storm, I try the diffuser instead of sedatives. It's not perfect, but we've been through so many storms since first using this, that his reaction is 80% reduced, and that's even without using this diffuser or any sedatives. I am very pleased.
