Electric Cheese Grater, 250W Professional Electric Slicer Shredder, Silver Stainless Steel

As a result of arthritis in my hands and needing an easy way to shred and grate cheese, potatoes, cabbage and similar foods (but not wanting a large capacity food processor on my countertop), I bought a different brand of electric grater about a year ago. It was okay, but had a tendency not to stick to the counter if too much pressure was needed and the rather small grating tube got clogged frequently and had to be disassembled and cleaned frequently. Adequate but not that great.The Homparty grater/shredder popped up on my recommendations at a reasonable price and with much better reviews. I decided to take a chance on it. I am happy to report that It is so much better, stays in place even when using higher pressure on the push tube, much larger feed tube and grating drum that rarely clogs. The single cone-shaped drum with interchangeable grating plates makes it easier to store and are pretty easy to switch out. My one complaint is that the user manual that comes with it has print so tiny that I literally could not read what each blade set is for and have had to simply experiment. Only the large shredding blades and slicing blades are obvious. The other 3 are a mystery until you use them.

Did you get the humor of the title of my review? Anyway, this does work great. Makes slicing vegetables very easy and the clean up is easy. The many different types of shredding and grating provides everything we need. Motor is strong.

So many small appliances, yet nothing to shred carrots. What a mess. Finally, I gave up ordered this from Amazon and Viola, perfect shredded carrots!! And perfect carrot raisin salad. The family was thrilled and so was I. EZPZ

This grater is a lot bigger than I was expecting so you can do large quantities quickly. It's easy to put together and works really well. I feel like I can also take it apart and clean it very easily which isn't the case with some of these. Going to be a staple item in my kitchen.

As expected it works so well. Favorite part is the front end that dumps everything straight into the bowl or plate. No mess. And easy to clean.
