This Astragalus is a wonderful value for the money.I've been using it in my morning smoothie ti keep the winter ailments at bay and, so far, it's working!

Whenever I see in the description of an ingredient that says, used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine, it gets my attention. Anything used over eons of time and trusted is for a reason. Long before microscopes existed or formal chemistry studies, it was simply observed by cultures and "healers" that consuming or topically using some plant or flower or root, consistently had a positive effect of an illness. We would later call this the scientific method. Observing, looking for consistent and repeatable effects, testing and drawing conclusions that might lead to a theory and later a so called law. That's the case with astragalus root. It seems to be used in a wide variety of supplements as a tincture or powder. I would much rather go to the source of a beneficial product and consume its molecules naturally. ?this powder offers that and at a very reasonable price. Perhaps I need to find a way to get it inside me before I can love it. If added to a shake, it will make it taste awful, at least to my palate. I am past the days of holding my nose and throwing something back. Anything you dislike, you likely will find ways to avoid. I have grown to like the taste of things like black seed oil and even shilajit resin si I take those daily. This powder seems to sit unused. So I give it full marks for quality and affordability. As long as you can find a way to consume it tolerably.

No idea about this company or product.Who certifies it organic? No clue.Where does it originate from? No clue.Serveral attempts to contact the company. No response. I shouldn’t have bought this and will attempt to get a refund.

This Astragalus is good quality. Just as expected. I very much like that it is USDA certified organic. Astragalus root is known for many benefits. Happy to add this to my smoothies!

I've tried other astragalus root powders before, and none of them had a bitter taste like this kind does. Astragalus root normally has a mildly sweet, starchy flavor. This powder has a very bitter taste and isn't palatable, even when mixed with sweeteners and other foods and drinks. I tried it with water, coffee, almond milk, honey and other drinks and foods, I'm not happy with it. I wouldn't incorporate this into my wellness routine because I would dread taking this everyday because of the awful flavor that's impossible to mask. I don't recommend this product.

I especially like that this is certified organic. I also like that it has just the supplemental powder in it and no additives. Mine is fresh and the powder moves freely--no clumping. Mine expires in January 2026. I don't mind the taste of it and think it mixes ok in smoothies.

At first, I used little, tiny pieces of cut root. I used them in teas and would let them sit and infuse or sometimes I'd put them in a coffee grinder dedicated to herbal items. While I liked them, this powder makes it so much easier and quicker to use. There are no suggestions for use on the package so it's something you will need to research & find what works for you. This is not a product you use for flavoring, it's all about potential health benefits and should be used accordingly. Personally, I don't use it daily, but I have a lot of natural ingredients (leaves, seeds, flowers, powders etc.) that I put into rotation to make my nightly teas.I appreciate the tan/peachish-colored powder arrives in a foil-lined bag/pouch with a ziplock-style closure. The resealable closure works well. Any powders can have the tendency to clog up the ziplock so I keep a binder clip on it so it's always available if needed.I received my package in July of 2024. It's best before date isn't until 1/10/2026. I appreciate this powder comes in a 1lb package as it will last a long time. The package notes it's from Unleased Organics, but it does not note where it was specifically made, and I don't see that info on the listing either.
