This little timer is a miniature pot with lid and it is absolutely adorable! The timer works great and the bell isn't too loud or obnoxious. This would make a great gift for someone who loves to cook. I love it.

The ring is gentle and you might not hear it in a noisy environment or at a distance. The ring is not very long, either, even when fully cranked according to the instructions. My vintage Lux Minute Minder Long Ring rings both louder and longer. Requires two hands to set; one to hold the base and the other to turn the knob. All-metal with no visible plastic parts. Looks and feels like a quality item.

This is a cute wind-up timer. Unfortunately, mine doesn't make any sound and it doesn't seem to stick to my fridge or anything metal. The description says it is magnetic but for some reason, mine doesn't seem to be.

This timer is very cute and works well. It isn't too loud, but the sound is just right. It is cute enough to leave out on the counter or stove, and makes a good gift.

Yes, it looks just like a little stainless steel pot with a 60 minute clock face around the rim of the cover. It's actually fairly heavy and pretty decent stainless steel materialI like that it's mechanical so you don't have to deal with batteries etc, and I tried it a couple times and the timing is fairly accurate.My only very minor issue is that the handles are attached slightly off so that they are not lined up properly with the body of the pot, but that doesn't affect performance and isn't bad enough to be really annoying.Otherwise, if you like the look it's a cute little timer.I hope this helps. This FORJARS timer is adorable! The quality is great and it’s easy to use. The stainless steel is well polished and free of scratches. Just the cutest little pot timer.

The media could not be loaded.  What I like most about the Forjars timer, is the very realistic of a canner.It is stainless steel and light. Also, compact, which helps when space in your pantry is limited.I have 5-stars for this unquie timer.

I've wanted a traditional wind-up mechanical timer for ages, and they're not easy to find any more! This is exactly what I wanted. No, it's not accurate to within seconds, but it's accurate enough and when time's up, there's a three-second ringy bell. The look is so nostalgic and cool, very nicely polished stainless steel. Comes in a nice box, totally giftable. Be sure to read the directions, wind it clockwise to 55 minutes and the turn back to the desired time, that's how the mechanism gets wound. Be careful not to turn it the wrong way.The ticking sound while it's counting down is just wonderful. I love this so much.
