Audio OK but not Bose quality by far. Program design to run radio and functions is the worst I have ever seen. Very difficult and used poor logic. Not intuitive at all. One good example is that when using the sleep timer you set the time for the radio to stay on, say 60 mins. Then you set for sleep mode. Radio stays on for 60 mins. Great. But then the sleep timers resets to zero mins (which is on with no timed off). You must get into the sleep timer menu again, then set you sleep mins, then start timer. You have to do this every time you want to use sleep time, especially when you are half asleep and just want to listen to the radio while you doze off. STUPID PROGRAMMINGSENT BACK QUICKLY.

Beautiful desktop multifunction speaker, but you should be aware:- the clock will only display 24-hour / GMT / "military" time, not 12-hour.- the digital clock display is 1" wide x 1/4" tall. Great if the clock is right next to you on a desk or nightstand, but impossible to read across the room if (like mine) your vision is not so good.- programming the clock alarms is more complicated than I'd expect -- similar to programming the clock of a mid-80's VCR or the alarms of a digital wristwatch. Each button serves as multiple controls, for example: short press the mode button to change modes, long press to program a current mode.- I had difficulty switching between clock mode and radio mode with both the remote and the on-unit button. This may have been a bug with my unit, but even if it works perfectly I can already imagine losing my patience while trying to program the device.I *really* like the InstaBox i90. It is a beautiful device. The build quality is solid, and the sound quality seems good. I had no complaints about the radio reception. I like that it has a built-in battery.To be fair, I returned the one I ordered because I needed a simple alarm clock radio. This device offers alarm features, but due to the many other features it has, it is necessarily more complicated than I like.

This is a wonderful radio! We had an expensive stereo system in our kitchen/dinning area that could receive very few stations, and they were not really very good fidelity. This little radio picked up 27 stations, and all of them are clear as a bell. The remote is also a great addition as you can operate the radio from across the room.

Great sound - easy to use - only issue is the remote needs studying before usage as it has 28 buttons on it!

Sent this thing back. The look was great but everything about this clock radio was complicated. Spent over an hour trying to set the alarm and time then gave up. Once packaged for return the alarm finally started going off! Also, it truly only shows time as military time.

Works great, as expected. The key labeling of the remote can be a little confusing as some keys functions are unconventional.

i bought the i50 and the older version of the i90 and this one is just as nice as the others... my wife stole the i50 as she really loved the vintage look of that one, these speakers are hard to beat, Battery life is really good... and you simply cannot beat the sound dollar for dollar... its rich sound, and the interface is simple and easy to use. Radio comes in really good!

I wish I had returned it a long time ago. Just not user friendly at all. I'll give it one star as far as how to program it, but speakers work ok
