Good quality, and dimmable lights are a useful feature.
The first thing that I must mention is that I bought this at a substantial discount from Amazon Warehouse as it was listed as damaged, but still functional. Well, I cannot find any damage whatsoever to it, so that is a huge win.Unlike many portable studios this one merely folds flat with no tedious frame to construct out of bits of metal before it can be used. Just create the cube by unfolding it, stick the Velcro together, plug in the lights and away you go. The item is quite heavy for what it is and this contributes to an overall impression of good quality. I expected just three PVC backdrops, but there were three more coloured ones in a microfibre material. There were both British and European plugs supplied for the power unit.In use perhaps the most useful feature is that the LED lights are controlled by a rheostat and can be dimmed. I found it really easy to use and the professional-looking photos will certainly enhance my eBay listings. All in all, this is a decent product at the list price and a real bargain if bought from Amazon Warehouse.

Another PULUZ great product
Need to say, I was bit sceptic at the first glance on it, but...Product as overall is great.- easy to assemble and to work with- backdrops change is easy thanks to vecro- 2 strips LEDs are very good - brightness and option to DIM is good enough (if you need more power, you can still use external source of ligh if U wanna)- as overal, very good and did produce very good result at the finalCONS (just my opinion):- backdrops are tent to atract a lots of small dust and particles- backdrops are easy to scratch- overal durability seems a bit lower due to "velcro construction". Dont get me wrong, in my case, I had this both setted on table without need to folding it every day - I think that vecro will not stand every day couple foldings for long time

Doesn't come with UK Plug!
Sadly the unit came with a European plug, despite the pictures showing a UK 3-pin plug.I haven't been able to use this yet, and will probably end up returning it, as the seller isn't responding to my messages. I've had this for 2 weeks now and the seller said they were sending me a replacement plug. Nothing has arrived yet and the response I have gotten is that they are investigating the logistics. There are lots of better alternatives on Amazon and unless you want to pay for an additional plug, I would definitely avoid this one.

Does The Job Reasonably Well, But Has A Lot Of Rough Edges Given The Price.
This light box arrives in a nice, Pulux branded, cardboard box, with its own plastic carry handle. Inside the box is the light box, power supply, front baffle, diffuser, 4 x PVC Backgrounds, Tote carrying bag, and an instruction leaflet. The light box is relatively easy to set up. It is held in shape by a mixture of thick fabric, some internal framing, the LED light panels, clever folding, and Velcro. Whilst this makes it possible to easily disassemble it and carry it flat in the bag, it does make the construction a little flimsy. When set up it takes up a space roughly 60cm wide, by 40cm deep, by 60cm tall. The light box has three light sources. One from above and one from either side. These are all connected to the same power supply which has a single knob to control the brightness level of all three LED panels. There are three ways to use the box. You can have the front section completely open. You can put on the front panel, which has a silver reflective surface to bounce light back towards the subject, but leave a small panel in the middle of it open so that you can take photos through it. Or, you can close this panel, and open a hole in the top to shoot photos from directly above your subject. As well as this, when shooting from the front, there is the option to have a diffuser panel between the top LED light panel and the subject, or to remove it to have more direct light shine on the subject to create stronger reflections and a harsher light. There are also 4 different coloured background PVC sheets (white, black, green and a coral orange), to help create the shot you want.In use the light box does a reasonably good job for smaller objects. It is nice and bright at full power, and the various ways of being able to take shots makes it quite versatile. Not only were the shots great, but I found it so much quicker to use, especially when having multiple items to shoot, than having to set up traditional lighting for each item. That being said it, is not without its issues. When in use, especially at full brightness, the power supply can get uncomfortably toasty, so I would advise being careful where you place it. The workmanship where the cables are connected to the LED panels is disappointing. As you can see from the photo (and it is the same for all three panels), the place where the wires are soldered to the panel is exposed. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this in terms of functionality, it is hardly the finish I would expect from an £80 product. The front panel is held on by a vertical strip of Velcro on either side. After about a weeks' worth of use, the top of this panel, which isn’t secured, has started to sag, leaving a gap between this and the light box. Whilst on a practical level this isn’t that much of an issue, I wish there had been Velcro on all four sides of this panel to secure it in place, and will probably end up adding my own. This sagging leads me to another worry though, which is, given that most of the joints are simply fabric joints, I can’t help wondering how many times it will take, folding and unfolding this light box, before those joints start to stretch a little, and make the box flimsier than it already is.The PVC backgrounds are reflective on both sides. Whilst this wasn’t much of a problem with the white one, it was very noticeable on the green one. These reflections caused the bend in the background to be very obvious in the photo. Sometimes you may want this bend visible, but other times you may want to hide that bend to create an ‘infinity’ type effect, where the subject is effectively floating in the image. So I wish the backgrounds had one side that’s a matte finish and one side that’s reflective, to enable you to create whichever effect you prefer. Finally, I wish the panels could be controlled independently, as well as uniformly, for those times you might want to introduce some shadow and contrast to your subject(s).In conclusion, this light box is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, it does the job and you can get some really nice product shots, as well as other types of shots that benefit from this type of light box. However, the hot power supply, poor finish, the flimsy nature of the build and the potential for stretching and sagging of the fabric, makes me a little concerned about its longevity. Obviously only time will tell on that one, so perhaps my fears will be unfounded. If the box cost £50 I wouldn’t quibble as much, but for an £80 product, I can’t help thinking the both the construction and the finish should be better than what it is.~ Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest opinion about it. That’s what I have set out to do, so I hope you found it helpful. ~

Very useful!
Will probably use this a lot for selling on eBay as well as my son using for photography course. It has so many extra features- backgrounds, different angles etc. Very impressed!

Easy to assemble and great result for my photos
It is easy to assemble and pack away. It also comes with different colour backgrounds. I took some photos to upload for prelove sales and the photos are great. The brightness of the lighting can also be adjusted. Overall,I am happy with the results.

Happy Customer
I don't know anything about photography and I'm not very smart, so if you find yourself reading this review and asking: "Does she know what she's talking about?" please refer to my opening statement.I purchased this because I'm selling some jewelry/charms and I wanted the images of the items I'm selling to look better than "I took this picture on a chair in my kitchen when it was sunny out."It took me literally 5 minutes to figure out how to set this up. Buttons are easy. One click turns on the outer ring of lights, a second click turns off the outer ring and turns on the inner ring of lights, and a third click turns on both rings of lights, with controls to make the light brighter or dimmer with clear "+" or "-" symbols on the button (please see images I'm including). I might be wrong about the order of lights, but you get the gist.It comes with 6 inserts: red, green, blue, tan, white, and black. I noticed some other reviews mentioned that these seem "cheap," and they're pretty much just posterboard, and like, I don't care, they seem to work fine for me and I'm grateful to have them as they keep me from going mad looking at the same color as I take multiple images of these little things.I'm posting images I took with my phone (Android One Plus 7T, in case anyone would benefit from having that information) with the tan insert in place. I have the light box set up on my floor on top of an empty plastic storage container. I really like that I can open the top of the light box and dangle items. The cord for the light box starts at the top of the box and is roughly 57" long. The only thing that made me go: "Grr. Oh, whatever," was the fact that the cord is USB. So if you want to plug it into a standard wall outlet, be certain you have a USB adapter or converter or whatever it's called. It's not a dealbreaker at all, but I figured it should be mentioned; and it may be mentioned in the product description and I missed it, so I figured maybe it deserved me mentioning it here in case someone else like me is reading this and also misses it in the product description. It comes with a carrying bag, I haven't used that yet.For the price and for what I need, it's perfect and I'm very happy I invested in it. I highly recommend it.
