Kinda, sorta humorous.
I adore the Broken Hearts series so was excited to read this collection of "humorous" short stories. Um, yeah, sort of? The first 4 shorts are not terribly interesting nor humorous and have a completely different tone than the series. He Said, Sidhe Said was pretty fun and I kinda wish it were longer and included the scene that caused the intervention. The Warrior and the Maiden is a solid fairy tale, short, bedtime story told by Lorcan.Soul Shifter is a bit more tragic & serious but sets us up really wanting to see more of Ash.Tax Not the Zombie was cute. This Werewolf Walks Into a Dentist's Office... was probably my fave, but I'm biased as I love Damian. This one was quirky and had that same feel as the series.Wish Upon a Zombie is the longest and the only one that has any hints at romance and the steaminess we get in the usual series but really just in comments then the scene changes to another couple so no skinamax type lovin'.Definitely worth the read although it does start out slowly, the last few stories make it worthwhile.

Dragons, and zombies, and glitter... Oh my!
This book is a quick jaunt through the stories already happening in Broken Heart, Oklahoma. If you haven't read the other stories, these snippets will leave you wishing you had! The writing is just as good as it is in Michele's other books, the characters are just as cooky and lovable, and the snippets are great peeks back into the past, present, and a little bit of the future for the residents of Broken Heart.

Fun, quick reads for those that know Broken Heart
First of all if you have not read Michele's Broken Heart series, these stories will leave you perplexed. You definitely need to know the backstories. However, for those of us who have read them, these stories are fun snippets. Think a light crunchy snack. Mental popcorn is the closest I can come up with.Enjoy the stories just like you would enjoy a bowlful of buttery, salty popcorn goodness.

I loved it
You always wonder what happens between books and some of the characters that seen to get lost along the way. This book does just that it helps tie some books together and you learn a little more of the almost lost characters. I love the broken heart series and am now starting the broken arrow series and in this is a branch from broken heart to broken arrow. I loves it and you will too!

Not my favorite at all
A mash up of stories from broken heart. Not my favorite at all. The stories had no real purpose, and they didn't have clear finishes in most of them. It's like she left the stories open on purpose, and I would like to know why. I keep reading, and hoping things will get better, but no such luck.

Hilarious!
I loved this collection of short stories. It was, as usual, funny. I have been reading all of Michele Bardsley's Broken Heart romances and will begin to read her Broken Arrow series as soon as it comes out. She is a wonderful writer.
