Love this book..Christmas in Twilight! Review by Christine Justovmybooks Romance Blog
5 Stars to A Wedding For Christmas (Twilight Texas #7) by Lori Wilde. The Twilight Texas Series by Lori Wilde is one of my all time favorites. What make the series even better is when Christmas is added. Christmas in Twilight is a magical time of year. While I have read all the books in this series in order, you can definitely read this one as a standalone. But if you have time, I recommend you add the whole series to your TBRs. Lori's writing style is smooth and each page flows into the next with the perfect pace, making this book just as engaging as all the others.Ryder and Katie.......So here we have the brother's best friend trope; one of my favorites. Ryder is a few years older than Katie but when they were growing up as kids together, the age difference would have made any relationship inappropriate. Not only that, but because of issues with his family, Ryder was taken in my Katie's parents and he refused to do anything that would disrespect them. When Katie was 15 and Ryder 18, he left Twilight to join the military. After he served his time there, he settled in Los Angeles, working security for celebrities. It is at a holiday event, a decade later, that Ryder unexpectedly runs into Katie. Immediately sparks fly. That said, they spend one glorious, unforgetable night together and then don't see each other until a year later.Katie does not want her heart broken again so she tries to avoid Ryder when he returns to Twilight to be the best man in her brother's wedding. But Ryder doesn't let Katie push him away. The romance and chemistry between these two is scorching and they are amazing together. I loved how tough, sexy Ryder melted anytime he was with Katie. Katie is a strong character. While she tries to hide her feelings, Ryder can see through her and because of this, he decides to make some changes in his life. He wants to be a man worthy of Katie's love. He won't let her hide from him.I enjoyed this romance so much! I can't wait to read the next Twilight book which is also a Christmas romance. Being in Twilight Texas for the holidays is magical. Again, I recommend this wonderful series to you. This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. :)

4 Stars
This was a sweet Christmas themed romance by Lori Wilde! Not quite as good as the last few Twilight, Texas novels but I still really enjoyed it.It did have one of my favorite scenes that I've ever read in any romance novel! The trivia scene was ON POINT! So funny! I smiled through the whole thing! My loss of a star is how long it took for Ryder to admit that he loved Katie. It literally took him the entire book to say it out loud. He finally said on the second to the last page. He admitted it to himself many a time, but would not say it out loud. It was really annoying.I really like how, in each book of the series, how different each couple's challenges are. It's not the same story told over and over with different characters like some other series' that I've read. Each romance and challenge is unique to each couple.I really liked Ryder a lot. A lot, a lot! And I especially loved his little old lady of a neighbor! She was the perfect addition to the story. Katie was a good heroine too, despite her obsession over being neat, orderly and organized all the time. That was a tiny bit annoying. And I was also not a fan of how she was constantly telling herself how Ryder couldn't change and he would never commit and she shouldn't expect anything from him, but then kept jumping into bed with him. And she still didn't believe him capable of change when his actions showed that he was.I'd give 5 stars to the first half of this and 3 stars to the second half so it evens out to 4.There's several lengthy love scenes but they aren't super graphic. A small bit of foul language but not much.

*** Love, love, loved it ***
What a great story this was. Katie Cheek has had a crush on her brothers best friend, Ryder Southerland, since she was fifteen. One day back then she threw herself at him and gave him a great big kiss. The next day he was gone and enlisted in the service. She never forgot that kiss. Life went on for her but Ryder was always in the back of her mind. Twelve years later....she left Twilight and had switched houses with a friend and was in L.A. for a short vacation. Never did she think she would meet up with Ryder there, but she did. How could she not spend one night with him. It was a night neither one of them will forget. They both agreed it was a one night only thing, no strings. It changed both of them. Now a year later, Ryder is back in Twilight to be the best man for her brothers wedding. Katie will be the maid of honor for her friend Katie. How are Katie and Ryder going to keep their distance from each other? Your heart will go out to Ryder. He has had so much heartache in his life and has closed himself off . If he doesn't feel he can't hurt. If he doesn't commit he can't get hurt. I know you will love this book as much as I did and follow Katie and Ryder on their joourney to a happy ever after. I really hated for this book to end it was so good. It deserves all five stars and then some.

A Twilight Of A Different Kind
I started this little adventure because a year ago, I came across an online book about a character named Kat who came home to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and got pulled into the story...then unexpectedly got pulled away from my computer. When I came back, Windows had performed an unscheduled update, and I lost the link to the book.😭I have been on a mission trying to find that book so I can finish it! However, I ran across this book, stopped to read the first chapter, and couldn't stop reading it.I've never visited Twilight, Texas before l, but I will definitely be visiting again! Any book this funny, relatable, emotional, sincere, and REAL, gets my stamp of approval! 👍🏽👍🏽Thanking Lori Wilde for this joyful, motivating story.
