46pcs Ratchet Screwdriver Bits and Socket Set

This is a useful, compact, basic driver and bit/sockets set for typical SAE (American) use. Not exactly professional mechanic quality, but easy to keep in a drawer, a glovebox, an emergency kit, an on-the-go tool bag. The angleable ratchet driver is a really nice touch in a set at this price point.The case is nice and useful enough that someone serious about their tools might replace the bits over time with extra-strong impact-rated ones. I find that the bits in sets like this tend to get messed up over time (especially the the Phillips ones) because the metal they're made out of isn't all that strong. So a compact package like this re-filled with high-end bits would be nice for various scenarios. The orange big box and various other places often have large sets of bits on sale around holidays, and one tends to end up with surplus of the eventually, and thus no need to keep using lower-quality bits.Anyway, I would recommend this just for the driver alone, even if you don't need more bits and sockets. I actually got this just to have a compact driver that can be bent for getting into awkward places.

Great item to keep in your “junk drawer” in your car or anywhere handy so you don’t have to go to the garage or basement to get your tool box. Handle is sturdy and should do well in all but the heaviest duty tasks. Every conceivable (non security) bit is included plus metric and SAE sockets. Quite a bargain for the price!
