Much needed!
Super helpful for anyone struggling with grammar and trying to learn ancient greek (I'm doing Attic). Never learned formal grammar in public schools so ancient languages are brutal unless you figure this out really quickly. This will definitely help you.

Really good
I like the methodology of this book. First, they show how we would say something in English, then they show how you would say that kind of thing in ancient Greek. It's a nice, clear teaching method. I like the way it boils things down into simple explanations. Five stars for an excellent resource.

Pity the fool who tries to learn Greek without learning the theory of grammar
It is a given that the student of Ancient Greek will need remedial work in grammar. This book fills the bill admirably. It talks about grammar abstractly. It then maps both English and Koine Greek into the grammatical taxonomy in a way which makes the student understand the former better while simultaneously enabling him to make sense of the latter. It kills multiple birds with one stone.

Would give it a sixth star if I could.
For the two-dozen readers who find such a cross-lingual Strunk & White of use, this little volume is a goldmine. Way up there with Smyth for beginners.
