I have developed a love for bird watching and bird feeders in my late 30’s, so of course I needed a bird feeder camera! This feeder was easy to set up. It connected to WiFi easily and it was no problem mounting it and hooking up to solar panel. I had it ready to go in under 30 minutes.The video quality is great and I haven’t had any issues with the motion detection. I get to see which of my little friends visited even when I’m not stalking the windows! This is really the perfect camera bird feeder for all bird enthusiasts. I highly recommend!

This is actually a pretty nice little bird feeder / camera.My first was a birthday gift, the Birdfy. Nice feeder, nice camera, bird identification that can be purchased by the month or for lifetime that does not need a monthly subscription to the cloud service. There is a nice forum of users with shared bird pics. However - the price of a similar feeder with the AI and solar is nearly 3 times the cost of this little feeder.The second was an expensive one here on Amazon and the worst user experience searching and looking for bird videos.This GEREE is somewhere in the middle, a very similar feeder, the VidoHome app which is very user friendly for viewing bird videos, and bird recognition that is included with the $4.49/month fee paid on google play.The bird recognition so far is fairly good, activated by a click while viewing the cloud video with one or more choices of birds. There does not appear to be any method of taking a still photo from the video - just the option to play the video and/or share it.For the price (currently $90 less a 20% coupon) this is a very nice feeder that allows you to view your feeder visitors and for less than $5/month save them to the cloud and get an AI bird detection feature.Installation was easy and the feeder and all its parts well packed with a very good manual.

Gave this as a mother's day gift. Assembly and setting it up for someone older was a bit tricky - not hard but also not easy. They didn't want to have the subscription which I understand but then it was harder to use the app without it. All in all a bit expensive but an interesting idea.

I've always wanted to take a camera I already have and place it to view birds and squirrels but this takes it to the next level tho there was a slight downside but still well worth it.Overall construction of the bird feeder is impressive with a beautifully package item all well taken care of during packaging and well thought out. The feeder us rather large so it will need a hefty tree or sturdy tabletop to be secured to. This is not your typical window suction cup type of feeder. Feels and looks like all materials used in the feeder are done with premium materials. The camera itself is amazing as these style of cameras always are. I do have a slight complaint and for some reason up close video is a bit blurry but its still visible. I don't feel like its something that is normal so I could have a bad camera maybe. Other than that I really love this feeder the app and the idea. No birds yet just squirrels but they will come in time. Highly recommended.

I am in LOVE with this bird feeder! I can view the birds coming and going and eating. So far I've had plenty of common birds such as small finches and some black birds, but a day or so ago, I got a cardinal! I was so excited!The quality is good and the bird feeder overall is very sturdy. Easy to put together and easy to keep filled. The camera quality is good and it's a joy to watch the birds. :)Highly recommend this product for the avid bird watcher!

This bird feeder is extremely unique in that you are able to see the visiting birds via the attached webcam. The webcam is solar powered so there’s no electrical wire needed. It was a little tricky figuring out how to mount it but there were a couple of options; I went with a pole attachment I made myself. Easy to use and set up. Great for the garden!

This is a great bird feeder but it's not exactly what it could be. The camera takes great pictures when I can get it to work. It operates slowly and a lot of good pictures are missed because of that. Great idea, poorly executed though.

Bought this Bird Feeder one month ago for watching birds in my backyard. I put it on my back deck floor directly because I'm afraid other small animals (cats, squirrels, raccoons, etc.) might topple it if I put it on a tree. It takes 2 weeks or so for the birds to finally notice the feeder. Now the birds (mostly the Northern Cardinals) come to eat food almost everyday. It's solar powered so I don't need to charge it weekly (like other devices). It would be nice if the wireless Wifi receiving function could be better though (because it always shows Wifi strength as "weak", even I put it very close to the modem), but overall I'm happy with the purchase and price.

It's not often that I get a product that exceeds my expectations. Well, this smart bird feeder with a camera sure did.I have some feeders in my backyard that attract a lot of birds. I had heard that some feeders have cameras built in so you can watch and record the birds as they come and feed. I ordered this one since it seemed to have all of the features I was looking for.The camera arrived very well packaged in a giftable box. It requires some very minimal assembly to put the roof and the perch on the feeder.The feeder comes with the feeder, a USB charging/power cable, a solar panel, multiple brackets and attachments for mounting, fruit attachments for putting fruit on, and one of the best user manuals I have ever used.I do want to comment further on the user manual. As we all know so many manuals have a lot to be desired and are not very helpful at all. This is not the case with the manual for this feeder. It is well written with pictures and very detailed. Thanks, Geree for putting in a great user manual.Once assembled you download the app called VICOHOME to your smartphone or tablet. You then follow the instructions on the app and add the feeder. You have the option of using cloud storage which is free for 30 days or an SD card up to 128 Gigs. I decided to use the SD card.The app is very good with a lot of settings. There is 2-way communication if you want to talk to the birds or listen to them. You can also set off an alarm which is handy if you want to scare away unwanted birds or animals.You can get notifications as soon as a bird is on your feeder.The video is very clear and it's wide angle so you do not miss anything.I mounted my feeder on a pole with the included steel bracket. Even the bracket is very heavy-duty and impossible to bend. It's nice to see that this company did not use cheap components at all but included very well-made and high-end parts.The feeder is very cute and holds 1.3 Liters of feed.If you do use the cloud then the app can identify the type of bird that is coming to the feeder. This requires a subscription.You can even take snapshots of birds.The app allows you to stream the feeder's video on up to 4 different smartphones so you can share the videos with friends and family anywhere.I am very happy with this feeder with a camera and looking forward to the Spring when the variety of birds increases.The feeder is well made with a lot of features I have not even covered in this review. It is very easy to set up and provides some amazing videos and images of the birds that visit the feeder.The price is very fair for something made so well and with so many features. I do recommend this to any bird watchers or anyone who likes to feed birds.

I have been very impressed with this bird feeder with viewing camera. It has opened my eyes to the number of birds we get through our neighbourhood (and the occasional squirrel). The bird feeder itself was very straightforward to assemble with great instructions. The feeder itself seems very sturdy and should last quite a long time. The perch area provides a great place for the birds to rest and be in perfect view of the camera.The camera has a very clear picture and I really like that you can set up alerts through the app and it will also save a few recordings on the free version of the app. One thing that I have found quite unfortunate is for the app to save more than a few recordings you are required to pay for a monthly subscription on top of the cost of the feeder itself.Overall, the feeder has been a great upgrade to the backyard and has provided some great video footage of birds that are often hard to catch with a camera. The subscription for additional video recording storage is a little unfortunate considering the initial cost of the feeder however you are able to use it without the paid feature.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a cool bird feeder with a decent camera built in. Assembly was very easy and connecting it to the app was simple. I will say, the app is pretty much identical to the app I have used for a home security camera. In fact, the actual settings page and button presses are EXACTLY the same. The only difference is this has the ability to pay money to get some "enhanced features". All of the AI detection that it talks about and the push notifications are behind paid access. I'm guessing if I delete this camera from my app and open up my security camera app, I could find and add this one in to get the motion push notifications for free. Otherwise, it is really just a security camera bolted onto a feeder. The feeder itself is sturdy though and is very simple to mount and fill. I also like that it has the ability to attach "spikes" for fruit slices. It can be lole mounted, screwed to a wall, or even strapped to a tree. Everything is included to attach it to something, including the screws and anchors, if needed. The camera is also decent for a cheaper camera and I like the fact that it can remain charged using a solar panel. You can see the video and pictures I can pull from it with the cardinal that visited the feeder today. I'm happy with the feeder itself but the advertising is a little misleading of what it really is and doesn't mention a subsription for the AI and notification pushes (it only mentions cloud storage as an extra fee).

The Geree smart bird feeder is a great way to watch nature from inside without having to be visible. The solar panel is able to keep the device powered and you can place the device within a range of your WiFi signal on your property.The device is well made and easy to use allowing you to fill the hopper with an adequate amount of feed to have a few days of hungry birds feed before a refilling. There is a perch that attaches to the edge to allow the birds to stand and eat while the camera captures them.The camera is able to store images and video to a memory card or through a cloud subscription service. There is no way to remote view the camera without a cloud subscription.The VicoHome accessory app is easy to use and allows you to view the image or video along with capture, share and change settings. There is IR LED on the front in order to provide light at night which works well albeit more likely to capture rodents and curious deer then birds.The AI built in to the software allows you to identify the birds that are at the feeder. It works sometimes however often does not identify the correct species. The camera has movement detection which works well and can help save battery when the feeder is not being used.The video and picture quality is good and as long as the birds are within the focus range of the wide angle lens. Most times the birds are in focus and provides a clear and saturated image that shows off a good level of detail.The battery has no problem staying charged as long as the feeder capture settings are adjusted especially for winter periods where light is limited.Overall this is a great quality product that is easy to use and clean when necessary. The kit includes mounting hardware to attach to a pole or vertical surface and takes minutes to install (help will expedite the process).Makes a great gift or decoration for any home, office or cabin that has a WiFi connection.
