Nothing wrong with it, I just didn't like the color

It’s a good thing I wasn’t too picky about the color!
I ordered green. I received red. I went back and checked the order - yep, I definitely ordered green. I went back and looked at what I received - yep, it’s definitely red. OK, whatever. I didn’t really care.Things to know:- It’s solid. It’s porcelain coated cast iron. It should last forever - except maybe for the lid handle. See below.- It works on my induction stove. I can hear you out there saying “duh! It’s cast iron - of course it’s going to work on an induction stove. To the contrary, my friend (that was originally in French but Amazon gets picky about using foreign languages, even sarcastically) - not necessarily! Sometimes they make the porcelain too thick or include ingredients in the porcelain that interfere with magnetic waves. In this case, however, they didn’t and it works.- It heats reasonably evenly. How do I know? The first thing I made in it was a loaf of bread. The browning on the bottom revealed some spots are hotter than others but not so different that it would make me not want to use it to bake bread.- This thing is really heavy, like “I’m afraid I might drop it on my tile kitchen floor because it’s so heavy.” The listing says it’s 12 pounds but it feels heavier than that.- I’m not thrilled that the lid’s handle is a separate piece that’s bolted to the lid.Why couldn't they just put one of the wide Loop Handles on the lid like they did on the sides? It’s a cast iron pot and lid but the handle is steel. That means that as it heats and cools, the lid and handle will expand and contract at different rates. It’s all fine today but, eventually, after many cycles, the handle will begin to loosen. It’s just a matter of time.- On the inside of the lid, there are a bunch of little nubbins. I was wondering what those are. According to the copy, they’re part of the self-basting lid that “helps redistribute the moisture that collects on the lid during cooking, ensuring your food stays moist and flavorful” OK, ya learn something every day.Overall. It’s a solid Dutch Oven at a reasonable price.

Heavy duty but with a flaw!
Pros: Beautifully green upon arrival. Very heavy duty. Arrived promptly. I have never owned one before and this is smooth! Very easy to use and easy to clean by hand. Probably not going to risk it to be in the dish washer due to the nature of cast iron. Do not recommend putting it on glass top oven ;). Ordered a 6.5QT. big enough but not small enough as well. A perfect fit. Smooth enamel. Price was adequate.Cons: no instructions. No brands. No warranty information. Electric stove cooking was not completely even due to uneven bottom but will work well in oven.... Well... Unless you have a gas stove top.
