I absolutely love this bag. I purchased it about five months ago, and I bought it the Herschel Supply Co. Anchor Sleeve. I have a 13" Macbook Pro, and I got the bag for my average school day, and the sleeve for when I just needed a few books and my Macbook for the day.The bag is great. I never like stuffing my bag full of textbooks (I like to keep it light), but there's definitely plenty of space in this bag. I usually keep my Macbook, 1-2 composition books, 1-2 textbooks, and my power cable in the big pouch. In the medium-sized pouch, I store pencils, sharpies, my wallet and keys (when needed), and such in there. The smallest pouch is used for my iPhone cable, loose change, and any other small items I need to keep.The bag is really well made. I was, at first, weary about buying this bag because I didn't know if my Macbook would fit perfectly in the laptop holder, or if the leather would easily tear, etc. However, the bag is extremely well-made, and my Macbook fits perfectly in it (I was afraid it was going to be small, as the laptop holder is designed for a 15" Macbook). There's plenty of space, the material is nice, and it's an overall great bag.The only drawback is the "MP3 holder" that's in it. The actual hole that your headphones are supposed to come out of from the bag is way too small, and you can easily get your headphones stuck in it. I realized that the first time I tried it out, and I've never used it since. This isn't a big deal for me, because I wouldn't even use it in the first place, but some may want to use it.Overall, it's a great bag. I think it's pretty much worth the price, and the laptop sleeve is really nice as well.

I couldn't love this bag anymore than I do. I'm honestly surprised that such a popular name brand could hold up this well but it has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I used it all four years of college (LOTS of books, lots of walking, and a semester abroad), traveled throughout the U.S. and internationally (Europe and Asia) using this bag as my personal item for flights, used it for day trips and mini-vacations, and now on my day-to-day throughout the city.Pros:- Extremely durable. Lasted four years of college carrying loads of books and only shows light wear (scuffed bottom and handle on the top).- Very comfortable. The mesh on the shoulder straps are very soft and protective, and the structure evenly distributes weight.- Basically waterproof. Can withstand basic showers and quick runs through a heavier storm, but if you have any doubts just pick up a can of weatherproofing spray.- Perfect carry-on personal item, fits easily under the seat in front of you (unless it's overpacked)- Separate lined pocket for a 15" computer. I've got a 13" and I can fit the laptop in its case here, although the case isn't necessary.- LOTS of space, including the sunglass pouch at the top (can be used for cellphones, etc.), the front zipper pack for boarding passes etc., front pouch (with key clip, zippered pouch, etc.), and inside the main bag you have a separate space for you laptop, a media pocket on the side, and a media pouch with a somewhat obsolete headphone port.- Tons of color options.Cons:- No external water bottle holder. Honestly the only complaint I have since there have been more than a few times where a half sealed bottle spilled in the bag.Would absolutely recommend.

My teen daughter looked for months for a backpack and we finally settled on the Herschel Pop Quiz. The bag is SO CUTE! The red stripe lining looks just like the picture and is a great pop of color for the grey bag. We were worried about it looking more purple but it is def grey. The leather is good quality and the bag is very roomy. She can shove her books and clothes in there and it is padded enough that it is comfortable to carry. We found it much cheaper on Amazon than on any other website. The bag is easy to clean too. We had an incident involving some spilled juice that was left in the bag till it soured and surprisingly, I was able to clean it and get the smell gone completely. It looked as good as knew. The bag has held up well through out the school year and still is in great shape. No tears or loose threads. It is a little bit pricy compared to other backpacks but the quality and design is worth it. I would def buy again.

Nice colors, functional compartments. Even have an inside compartment for phone. What I liked the most was the laptop compartment and a little front compartment for glasses, the texture inside is soft so this is something else, the only bad thing is that doesn't have a place for water bottle at the sides, but doesn’t bothers me. Also have the representative Herschel trade mark.

Herschel bags are always my favorite bags when it comes to their very simple, trendy style. However this version of their backpacks have plenty of compartments on the front and also a very very thick an soft flap for laptops in the main pocket. The bag is also overall pretty large and holds a ton of items.The downside to me using bags like these is that the bottom tends to get dirty very easily, and because it’s a leather in the design I chose, it will definitely rip and deteriorate much faster than other bags. However, it doesn’t bother me that much and I’ll still be happy to use it.
