I bought these strippers because I needed to be able to strip 28 - 22 gauge wires my large strippers couldn't handle. They work pretty good, but, if the little piece of insulation that is stripped from the wire gets down into the mechanism, it jams it and can be very difficult to remove. I've used other self-adjusting strippers that cost over $100.00...these work just as good.

Worked well for the first 5 tries on 14 gauge wire. It then proceeded to stop working.
