Hifi noob is seriously impressed
I've only ever had micro systems, so I finally decided to upgrade my hifi gear to separate components. I went for a Wiim Ultra, an Aiyima A07 Max amp, a Sound BlasterX G6 as a DAC and the 3020i speakers. The speakers alone cost the same as some of my previous micro systems have, so this is quite an upgrade. It's difficult not to be impressed by these speakers, as they sound so much better than all of my previous equipment. I'm very limited for space, so the system is still set up like a micro system with the components in between the speakers. And despite how close together the speakers are a lot of my music sounds much wider than I expected. They also go far louder than I would ever need to listen to them. The amp dial's off position is about the 7 o'clock position and 9 o'clock is quite loud enough!I listen to anything from orchestral movie scores, some pop music, rock, punk a tiny bit of metal and some jazzy music and everything sounds great. What I've noticed is the instruments are more accurately represented and sound more realistic.I'm picking up much more tiny detail like fingers and plectrums on guitar strings that previously I either couldn't hear or weren't as pronounced. Things like snare drums also sound a bit more airy and you get more of an idea of the space they were recorded in.If I were to be critical I'd say the bass won't trouble the neighbours. My amp has a sub output, which might be my next upgrade but it's not absolutely critical. Also, the speakers are quite deep, which might affect where you can put them like for me, but they come with foam bungs for the ports so that any proximity to a wall won't affect the sound quality.Overall I'm very pleased with them.

Sheer quality at a budget price 👌
Have the 3020 previous edition of these speakers ,was rather intrigued at all the hype & reviews by customers, also hifi magazines etc &have to admit was a bit sceptical of it all Nevertheless decided to buy a pair, " he who dares " as Del would say 😉 , anyway straight out of the box without any run in & I could tell there was a difference I could hear subtle sounds that weren't apparent with the older speakers, the sound stage was more expansive & the stereo separation more pronounced, there was decent bass from the slightly larger cabinet All in all was really satisfied, & I may add relieved at the little bit of extravagance I still use the older versions as they still are a very decent speaker, so no real need for anyone to go & buy these other ones to be perfectly honest !! but I also have to be honest & say the 3020i editions do undoubtedly have that extra zing, & do deserve the extra hype Q Acoustic have had a remarkable impact on the speaker world of hifi To sum up these speakers will give speakers costing a lot more a run for it

Powerful - Lovely Sound
I have been after a new HiFi set up for ages now and I wanted something that would not break the bank, which is why I spent a long time checking out all the speakers available in the £200-300 bracket - I must admit I was surprised at how many there were/are. I decided on these Acoustics 3020i speakers as I felt they hot the spot perfectly. I was not wrong. My last HiFi cost a whole load more than I paid for this set up (these speakers plus a Denon D-M41DAB for £189) and the sound is extremely impressive. I was not expecting what I got and was more than surprised at what I heard. At the end of the day it is really about personal preference - I like classical music whereas my wife likes ballads etc, mind you I also like to hear The Who and Queen blaring out!The sound is crisp, once the speakers were 'run in' and the bass not too strong to overpower the mids. Trebles are very good too, well the whole range is clear and deep with a hint of that certain something that comes from speakers costing ten times as much. So all in all a wonderful purchase.Highly recommended.

Great speakers for this price range
Paired this with a Yamaha streaming/cd system and for a family room (I’m no longer a 20 something who would have speakers the size of a telephone booth) it’s simply excellent. Went for these as they look the part whilst maybe Dali Spektor “might” have a sound edge but are ugly. For the music I listen to… punk and old rock, these are maybe the better option anyway. I’d maybe say go Dali if you were more into classical but it’s a whole different debate.I’m sure most know this but speakers just like a car in the 60s need running in to get the best sound, especially bass. It didn’t take long with these to start improving so don’t be alarmed if they sound a bit bright at first.Wiring in was of course unbelievably easy. Banana plugs and obviously get decent wireCan’t think of any down sides. Of course there is better but at much larger sizes for obvious reasons and at least twice the price. These will of course blow out the water any speakers that might have come with that Matsui stereo your dad had, but come on, no surprises there

Great sound and excellent value
Wanted compact speakers to sit either side of my TV / hifi unit and paired them Fisual Dynami Matte Black Desktop Speaker Stands (Large). Perfect solution and very happy with the result. Build quality is superb and the black speakers and stands are a perfect match.
