Great thickness & size
I recently ordered 4 Pack Towel Bands, Towel Craber for Pool & Cruise Chairs, Beach Towel Clips, Towel Holder for Cruise Chairs. I ordered some last summer for my beach chairs and they lasted only 1 season as they were about 1/2 the thickness. I don't use them as towel clips, rather, I use them to hold my beach chair closed while I transport to and from the beach. Otherwise, they will open when I am carrying them. These rubber bands were the perfect solution! I only wish they came in 4 different colors. I highly recommend them.

With great power comes great responsibility
We used these to keep our towels from blowing off the cruise ship deck chairs and into the ocean. They worked great. Just be sure you are using them responsibly, and NOT to reserve chairs for hours when you aren't actually using the chairs. :)
