Ruff! Ruff! Where's Scruff? Board book – January 1, 2006

My 19 month old son LOVES this book! I purchased it after reading such glowing reviews and noticed his great interest in doggies in our neighborhood. It is so enticing for him to see Scruff duck behind the animals as you open the pages but sometimes tries to grab him and I've had to tape him back twice. A simple task given the joy it brings to my son. He also likes the "moo", "nibble", and "baa" the animals say and finding the ball and mouse on each page. The large illustrations and cute theme of needing a bath ending with a good doggie in the bath makes me think this is a great toddler book.

White I understand the book is used. It stated the condition was good. By no means is this good condition. Pops are ripped and there is writing in the book. It should have been stated in the description. Why would anyone want a book with pop ups ripped?! I wouldn’t even give it one star, but they make you give one

This is my new favorite children's book. My grandchildren (18 months and 21 months) both loved having this read to them. The pop-ups are imaginative and the kids loved looking in all the hiding places for the missing "Scruff." I've given this book to several children this Christmas. Every one of them seemed to love having it read to them or making up their own stories about all the animals. My granddaughter had me reading it to her continuously when I gave it to her. Even after reading it at least 10 times in a row, it's still my favorite book.

I bought this book based on Amazon reviews for a first birthday. My grandson absolutely loved the book and was intrigued by the dog's disappearing, the bunnies popping up, and the duck's wings expanding. However, the pop-ups should be heavier cardboard. It wasn't long before Scruff, bunnies, and bubbles started to be ripped from the book. However, my grandson then invented a new game---sticking Scruff back into the pictures. I would have been willing to pay a little more for a more durable book.

My son LOVES this book! Hands down his favorite! It was a sad day when he was so excited to find scruff at the end that he ripped him off! We were gifted this book for our baby shower so i was so glad i could order a replacement and it came in perfect condition none of the pop ups were ever opened.

This is an all time favorite in our family! My oldest loved it when he was a baby, and now my 1 year old is in love with this book. I also gifted one to my friend and she said her son instantly was drawn to it! Very easy to read, great rhymes and pop ups!

This is the 3rd copy I have bought. Great pop-up. I like to give pop-ups to very little readers-to-be as it makes for a fun reading experience. I am talking 6 months old. The book will be destroyed but not before many happy readings.Kids love it.
