Wow! I’m writing this the morning after the second night that my two year has slept past 7am and has not rolled off his bed!! As another reviewer said I was discouraged when I took the bumper from the package. After contemplating a more priceier version of this item and reading reviews, I took the advice of another reviewer and used a hair dryer and my hand to help expand the foam.. and it worked!! After 24 hrs the foam was almost full size, I was still slightly disappointed in the density (we have a kids foam twin sofa and it is wayyyy denser foam). BUT I was desperate to get rid of the pillow waterfall on the side of my toddlers bed, so I installed it. That night, he slept up against it! The next night, he barely moved in bed at all! He is a very active sleeper and still nursing, but this bumper has *so far* afforded two nights of very peaceful sleep for everyone. And I’m not waking to a thud every night. Super pleased and glad I purchased this bumper at $10 less than the ‘amazon choice’ competitor. The only thing I will mention is the foam was discolored (likely due to manufacturing) and the cover says spot clean and does not have any grips - we use all cotton sheets and the bumper hasn’t budged. I’ll update if the cover shreds in the wash. Super, super pleased with this purchase. And made in the USA - absolutey no smell out of the box!

These bumpers are perfect. When our daughter was ready to move to the toddler bed at 15 months she did great....until she rolled off. We ordered this the next day and she's been happy in her toddler bed ever since. I seriously recommend getting deep pocket toddler sheets with this though, we have a foam mattress pad as well and the combination was too bulky for the fitted toddler sheets we used in the crib. But deep pocket fitted sheets make the difference. We even took this bumper on a road trip with us since it doesn't take up too much room and it was nice knowing she wouldn't fall of the bed where we were staying (I recommend keeping the bag it comes in if you plan to do this though! We didn't and had to impeovise). I definitely prefer this over the traditional crib rail, and given how much my daughter likes snuggling with it I'd say she does too.

Perfect for use at grandmas house. when my son visits, I put this on the guest bed. You need to put it under the fitted sheet AND under the mattress protector to keep it from moving. But it’s a good price and my son thinks that it is comfortable. It’s easy for him to climb over to get into bed but keeps him from falling out.

This rail works great. I got it to nurse my baby at night. I will be using this rail again once my baby grows out of his pack n play and is ready to sleep in a regular bed. I wouldn’t recommend using this for babies that are able to crawl as it’s not high enough that it won’t prevent them from crawling out of bed. The product easily rolled out. I wish there was a way to store this product after use as it is pretty big and can take up space.

When I first opened the package, I was so disappointed. The bed rail looked nothing like the picture shown on Amazon. It was so flat. I was going to return but I kept it in hopes that it will expand. I waited atelast 3-4 days and noticed the bed rail started to get bigger and bigger. Now it is exactly how it’s shown in the advertising picture. My only recommendation would be to include in the description of the product that it will take a few days for bed rail to get big and expand.

Product had a stained yellow patch on bumper not on the cover. Bumper was cut uneven, looked like the waste of the product, what was left over after the good peice had been cut off. It was not plump even after unrolling and giving it time to plump back into shape. Highly disappointed.

I've purchased 2 Berrigood bumpers in the past and they're great, but we needed more. The second set I purchased never expanded. The picture is of a bumper that sat out for 2 weeks. Thankfully Amazon has excellent customer service and accepted a return even though I had none of the original packaging.

You have to give it some time to completely fill out but once it does you can sleep better knowing your child won’t fall out the bed
