I'm using this plant theatre as staging for my Bonsai collection. I was so pleased with the robust quality of this product that I ordered a second one straight away.I have around 25 trees across the two shelving units, and some trees are very heavy indeed. Most plant theatres are constructed so each shelf overhangs the one below, that's okay for short/narrow plants, but not when you are accommodating a tree canopy that is much larger than the pot. These shelves don't overhang at all, so they are perfect!There is also some really strong diagonal bracing welded to the underside of each shelf, so there is no flex in them - fantastic for heavy items.The powder coating on the steel is thick, though do build the shelves on a soft surface because it will scuff on concrete, and you have to flip the unit upside down to get to the fixings.Nuts and bolts secure the unit, and two spanners are supplied, but if you have a socket set and a ratchet handle it will be far quicker.Please note that each end is made up of three parts, and they are connected at the back with one horizontal bar. Before you fully assemble the ends, you need to include the horizontal bar on the lowest bolt at the back of the unit - the instructions don't really explain that, and I had to unbolt them again.Finally - if you don't like the decorative leaf and bird motifs at the front of each shelf, you don't have to use them. They are the last thing to put on, they only fix to the undersides so they aren't structural in any way, and there will be no exposed holes to spoil the look if you decide to leave them off.I love them!

This is an excellent product and I bought three of them and would like more but they are no longer available on Amazon, anyone know if they are available elsewhere note they are made in Germany.
