This has been a fantastic and light case so far, but I also don’t bring my iPad out of my house so keep that in mind. The case does not cover the corners or top and bottom sides, so I don’t think it would protect from scratches or dents. I also appreciate the pencil being inside the magnet latch when it’s closed, as I was always losing it before. I bought this case and a sturdier one from another site and haven’t wanted to take this one off yet.

I love it. I had the notebook one on mine but i didn’t like the feel of it. So I ordered this one and I like that the magnet hold the case in place when using iPad so it’s not hanging

Really nice case. Exactly what I was looking for. I love that the iPad comes right out of the case if you want to remove it. Great and simple design.

I love this case, I’ve had it almost a year. What I did discover is that it does not put the iPad to sleep. Multiple message boards on this problem with this cover, putting a piece of card board in the back seems to fix the issue.

I was a bit worried with the other reviews in regard to the magnet not being strong enough. This thing works really well and it’s a great deal for the price. I love that because of the magnet I don’t need the bulkier case for it with the plastic sides. Yay, less plastic in the world. This is really sleek and works exactly how described.

I purchased this ESR case as a lighter alternative to my *much* heavier ESR Shift magnetic case. I’ve had good experiences with ESR, so I was eager to try this one. While it’s functional, I did have some mixed feelings.First, the purple color doesn’t match my previous ESR case. It’s a small detail, but I really liked the shade of purple on my other case, and this one isn’t as appealing. That said, this case weighs less, making it perfect for portability. It protects against screen scratches and has strong magnets to hold it closed. I also like that the pencil flap flips back and magnets behind neatly. My Apple Pencil can also charge without interference when the case is open.However, there are a few drawbacks. The auto sleep/wake feature is inconsistent—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Additionally, the case won’t close when I have a grip on my Apple Pencil—I’m hoping the clasp will loosen up over time and go over the grip.
