As a baseball umpire, it’s nice to start the game with a nice shine to the shoes. Sometimes, there isn’t much time to spend shining a pair of shoes. This is a quick way to put a decent shine on them before heading out to the field.

I wear black heels almost every day to work and since I take public transportation and do a lot of walking outside, my shoes are always getting spots or dirt on them. Taking out the shoe polish once a week just doesn't happen, so I've been using these to touch up my shoes when they are looking a little worn or dirty. There's no mess (so you don't get the polish on your clothes) and you can wear the shoes immediately. These are great for getting salt marks off the black boots I wear in the winter. I keep some in my closet next to my shoes and one in my desk at work so I'm always able to touch up my shoes. The 3 pack is great and is a slight savings over purchasing them individually. Only problem is these (and the brown ones) go in and out of stock quickly.

See the labeling difference? Definitely omits any connection with the original Johnson & Johnson "Kiwi" company, nor made on behalf of J&J. Manufactured in India. Liquid material is 2 mL less than original. Four stars because of misrepresentation that's not revealed until product is received. UPDATE @ 03152022 -- Usage reveals a deeper, higher degree of shine than original Kiwi / J&J branded product. Purchased two packs of three. Hope is that results are long-term consistent, as described. Am quite pleased so far. Perhaps this producer's formula is a bit "richer" than J&J's Kiwi...

This product does not even look like the picture and nowhere on the product does it say made by Johnson & Johnson, all it says is Kiwi on the front and even that is different. The back side bottom says “India” in small letters. Now, for anyone who thinks any of these sponge brushes will give previously unpolished leather shoes a shine, you are in for a disappointment. Having said this, if you have never been in the military, meaning you have never put a serious shine on shoes or boots, then these may work for you. If cleaning dust off your shoes is what you are looking for then maybe these are for you. Just know this, if you want these to shine your shores then you need to put a few coats of polish on your shoes and buff them out with a fine horse hair brush, between polish applications, which fills the pores, then use these for a finish buff. I have a pair of old shoes that have been polished many times and one of these sponges does an excellent job of restoring an old shine. I will probably return these because they are false representation of a J&J product, not what I paid for.

Kiwi is pretty much the standard for shoe care. Easy to use and apply, and to make the shoes look newer again.

Out of the 3 sponges not one of them produced any polish whatsoever. Tried pressing what appears to be a button on the top but made no difference. I have used these products before ,and never had any problem, but these just looked completely dried out. Will go back to my usual local supermarket, and buy ones that work, and work well.Total waste of money. Be WARNED !!

These shoe shine are all dried up and do not do the what the purpose of the shoe shine is suppose to do because they arr too dried up. Waste of a product and simply do not definitively recommend buying.
