This remarkable book, which is subtitled ‘The Poltergeist of Washington State’, is remarkable on many fronts, but mainly because it was written by the man who had to deal the astonishing and frequently terrifying events that took place in his home in the Seattle suburb of Bothell. The events started on the day he and his then partner moved in and although he has since moved on, they may still be occurring. Sadly, due to the stresses created by what occurred there and the levels of unwarranted abuse aimed at them, Keith separated from his partner.Where to start is the problem, because what occurred here covers just about every manifestation of malignant hauntings. Apparitions, poltergeist activity, noises, smells, projectiles, spontaneous fires (in this case bibles bursting into flame), voices, strange symbols appearing on the walls, exorcisms that did little to help, you name it, it all happened here. The book is written almost as a stream-of-consciousness event and it’s all the better for it, because it accurately conveys the way in which the author’s mind-set changed as the eerie manifestations intensified.A particularly useful feature is the inclusion of specific YouTube URL’s allowing the reader to access some of the footage taken in the house as the infestation occurred. One shocking aspect (for all the wrong reasons) is when the TV show ‘Ghost Adventures’ arrived, conducted a so-called ‘investigation’, made some fundamental errors, then, because nothing appeared on camera, more or less accused the author of making it up, oh, how wrong they were.It was not until British parapsychologist Steve Mera assisted by Don Phillips arrived from the UK, (the first of two visits), that validation was finally achieved. Their second visit a few months later was with Nick Kyle, at the time the president of the highly prestigious SSPR. This book is a highly recommended first person account of what can and still does happen to ordinary people caught up in truly extraordinary events. This is scary stuff and after reading it you might find that you want to sleep with the lights on.

Keith's book gives a detailed blow by blow account of the events that took place in his Bothell residence in Washington US. An abundance of evidence and some truly frightening encounters leave me utterly convinced of the legitimacy of Keith's story, coupled with the fact that he and his property were scrutinised by UK parapsychologist Steve Mera and Paranormal investigator Don Phillips, who stated right from the start that they would expose Keith if they found any evidence of fakery or trickery, but they found absolutely none.What they did find however was numerous pieces of incredible evidence to prove that Keith and his residence were the victims of a truly frightening haunting, and one which you wouldn't wish upon anybody. The book goes into detail about all the events that took place and it makes for some really compelling reading.My interest in this field stems from an extremely frightening paranormal experience I had whilst on holiday abroad as a teenager, one which I've never been able to explain and one which has left me a truly open minded person ever since. There are many things in this world which we simply cannot explain and the events written in this book most definitely fall into that category. I highly recommend anyone interested in this type of subject to buy this book as it contains some of the best evidence you'll ever come across. Keith has recently published a second book which I'll be purchasing as soon as the kindle version is available.

The best book I have read in years,scary, informative,genuine. I urge you to read this one and the follow up, it's unforgettable. My heart has been thumping with terror many nights when I read this. So many different investigators all came up with the same conclusion.I'm now downloading the follow up and can't wait. 10 out of 10 for me.

An absolutely amazing book. I have always had a minor interest in the paranormal as it touches on the most fundamental questions and from time to time I watch five minutes of the puerile rubbish coming from television production companies. This is a book at the opposite end of the spectrum, it’s written by an intelligent, rigorous and I believe honest man who has lived through the most terrifying experience.Keith, if you read these reviews, I hope all is well as far as they can be for you and send you best wishes and love from the UK and thank you - you are incredibly brave.

Wow such a beautifully written , very detailed account of a haunted home in Seattle . The true real and outstanding evidence blew my socks off. Absolute fabulous read! And would love to delve into this case personally.

Wow, what a read, don't think I would be able to cope with the poltergeist attacks. Keith is a very brave man to go through all this.
