Fitted straight on the boot as a replacement for the worn out originals. They work fine,the boot now stays open as it should.

Good part & price for Citroen C3
Seem a decent quality at one of the lowest prices I could find. Really easy to fit - just push in place once you have removed the old strut. Removing the old strut requires a thin screwdriver blade or similar to wedge under the spring clip so that they can be withdrawn.The 53 reg Citroen C3 tailgate now stays open when I lift it. Replaced both at the same time as it came as a pair - even fitting just one kept the boot open. One of the old ones had visibly failed as it seemed to be leaking oil.Happy with the purchase.
