This Hoist has been a real workhorse. I use it to hoist my B&W Fifth wheel hitch in and out of the bed of my truck. It works like a charm. A few months ago I must have left the remote on the bed on my truck when I was done and then drove off resulting in the remote ending up down the road someplace. It was careless and my own fault. I contacted the company to get a replacement remote and one was sent. Shipping for the remote was a little slow coming from across the Pacific but I did receive it free of charge. Very good customer service. If I could change one thing about the hoist it would be the noise. The gearing noise is on the loud side.

I bought two of these units about 4 months ago, and finally got to use one of them (the other is intended for use as a hot-swap backup, if ever needed) today for the first project for which I had been planning to use it, once I had gotten some other tasks out of the way first. I used the unit today to drag an approx. 500 lb. load uphill (a 35 degree slope) on a forested mountainside for several hundred feet (the second phase of the project, to drag the load up onto the top of a large geodesic dome, will await the arrival or somewhat warmer weather...).The job, once I tackled it, went amazingly fast, and it was very easy at all steps.Now, I do have a strong background -- from many years ago -- as a heavy equipment mover and rigger, and so I had made sure in advance to have a wide variety and selection of D-ring shackles in assorted sizes, towing straps, slings, tree slings, and other rigging and winching accessories at hand before I tackled the job, but nonetheless, a very big portion of the credit for an amazingly easeful, smooth, and quick job goes only to this electric winch. I was constantly amazed as I used it, at the amount of forethought and care that went into its design, and I was constantly amazed that it had every feature that I would have or would have ever desired in my lifetime. Someone put a lot of care into designing/engineering this winch.Bottom line: I could not be more pleased with this winch.

Getting older. Need help lifting 90 lb bags of concrete mix, etc. I was using old 12V bumper winch, but decided to try this because 1) easier to hang from chain/tackle suspended from my rafters, 2) had reversing switch, 3) had wireless remote.Very satisfied so far. I've used it twice, a real back saver. Works flawlessly (if a bit noisy) every time!Very well built of heavy gauge steel and over-sized forged hooks. Looks exactly as it appears in the pictures.I've never used it to lift more than 150 lbs, but the gauge of the steel frame, size of the internal bolts, the size of the wire-rope and the hooks make me believe it could handle much more.Good value for the money. Would buy again

Hoist does a great job, well made, quality parts, I would say the one thing that shows while I am using it is the amount of noise that it makes. This does not have anything to do with its function but it is something that customers should be aware of.

The scale I received is not the scale or remote pictured. The directions reference buttons not on the scale or remote. The scale can’t be set to Lbs. I bought this scale to weigh things in pounds. I think this is the confusion in the reviews between the people that can and the people that can’t. The remote buttons don’t make sense. The translation in the directions is terrible.Update, I was messaged by their support team and by holding the top and bottom button after powering on the scale it does beep and update the weight to lb. It is different than the directions and the remote labels are not helpful and the remote there for is not really useful so I have increased the rating to 3 stars.

Excellent customer service! I got this and didn’t use it for 2 months. When I did , it quit retracting. I contacted them and had a new one in about 5 days. The hoist works very well and I was surprised. Bound to have some problems when mass produced but the customer service was amazing

I've used it 2 to 3 times a week for almost 6 months. I lift 550 to 650lbs with it. While lifting about 600 lbs the motor started smoking and shut down. It's rated for 500 kgs about 1100lbs so very disappointing that it lasted only 6 months and not even used every day.
