Matimoo Evil Eye Bracelet

This bracelet is fantastic. I have been wearing it constantly for almost a year (10 months, night, day, showers, all the time) and it shows no signs that it will fall off or break any time soon. The string seems indestructible and the eye bead looks exactly as it did when it first arrived.This bracelet fits wrists with diameters from 2.5" to 4.25" (approx) [5cm to 11cm]. The knots pull apart to make the bracelet bigger and the back, silver bead can be used to push the knots to tighten. If you are having difficulty moving the knots, try holding only one of the strings at the double-stringed area while manipulating one or the other knot.If you put on/take off the bracelet often, I imagine that the friction of the moving knots will cause more wear and tear on the string than I have experienced by just wearing it non-stop.

For the record if my hands weren't so big I would have given this a 5* rating. Also I wish the rating system had decimal places bc this deserves a 4.8-4.9.I purchased four of these items in red for my mother, gf, gf's mom, & myself to inspire optimism in 2016. These are sleek, simple, & don't stick out. Thus, they do not garner attention from anyone but yourself and others in the know.Why 4 out of 5?- the bracelet in general is small. This is both a pro and a con. As I'm a fairly big guy -6'2", 200lb - with fairly big "mitts".I had difficulty fitting the bracelet around my hand at first to get it where it belongs, on my wrist. After a little struggle it was finally on. But the knots had tightened and it was nearly impossible to loosen.Word of advice. No matter how tight the knots are. Throw a little water on to dampen and relax the tension int the knots. Then you can easily reconfigure for a snug fit.

Very nice bracelet! Don't be like me and completely scared of it's size once you receive it. I was so worried that I'd have to return it and search for something similar since it's the size of a hair tie without any stretch. It could fit on a doll's hand... but it extends! No, I promise, it really does! Other reviews mention it, but I'll tell you how to do it--The bracelet has what's called "sliding knots" and I actually YouTube'd a how-to video on making them, just so I could see how they slide. It helped tremendously getting it on my wrist!!! Securing it though, proved to be a bit harder with one hand. I was biting, using the bead, and for the record, those methods didn't work for me. It took me about 20 minutes to finally get the knots to slide again, and there were a few cursing moments where I thought I'd be giving myself rope burn. Peanuts in the scheme of things on how long this will actually stay on me. I shower in it, sleep in it, all that. It's very durable. I definitely recommend! I'm thinking of ordering another rope color, maybe the red one next time!

I bought a bracelet almost identical to this in Istanbul; unfortunately, after almost five years, it broke! I bought a new one from Matimoo immediately afterwards and was not disappointed. I expected the string to be a lot flimsier- this bracelet is actually made of a wire-like material which is great because it won't fray or turn to a darker shade of red with time (and dirt). It also tightened perfectly around my very small wrist with a lot of room to tighten even more, and it does not loosen easily at all, so would be safe for young children to wear. My only wish is that I think the bracelet would be better without the small silver bead, which in my opinion looks a little cheap, but I definitely won't mark down for this as it is clearly shown in the picture and I made the decision to buy it with the bead.

I was hoping to love it, but ended up not liking one thing about the bracelet. When I seen it i realized it looked a lot smaller, but once I pulled the knots open and got it on (took a bit, hold one string still and pull the other) the bracelet is too big for my tiny wrist. the ends show up almost to the top and take away from the eye bead. I have such tiny wrist.So got a second one and the material is much thinner? 06/20/17

The Evil Eye Bracelet Black-Eye Black Cord is quite nice...it appears to be well-made and strong despite its diminutive size. It presented a challenge in attempting to figure out how to tighten it once it was on my wrist. It's generous with the amount of cord provided so as to accommodate most people. It is rather small and looks lost by itself. I think it'd be terrific with multiple Evil Eye bracelets (perhaps in various colors). Definitely worth the price!Thanks!!

This is what I was looking for, just don't think the bead is a big as I had hoped, and how it looks in the picture. However, it fills the bill. I got something like this in Greece and was looking for a replacement. This is close.

I really like this Bracelet.I received it today and it was a bit tough to get it on! The string seems very durable so that's a plus.I showered with it and the red string didn't fade.I love the silver "evil eye" touch on the bracelet.You can wear it alone or with your arm candy!4 star because it a bit expensive.Other than that I love it.

Bought this bracelet in 2016. It just broke mere minutes ago having worn it and NEVER taking it off. Worth the money.Buying another. Here’s to 4 more years.

Edit: Came back to buy another one. I bought the last one in 2016 for $10. Its almost $50 now!! Reduce my rating. Unreal. Its one bead and stringI want to buy these in bulk I love them so much

Very stiff and extremely difficult to adjust. Wouldn't recommend it.
