Oh my, I had never heard of this art and now I am going nuts over it! There are a zillion different things that you could do with these---pin cushions, jewelry holders, little beautiful compartments and each is a new and unique creation limited only by your imagination.If you are looking for a new craft item-I would highly recommend this one. I would recommend that you first use the Aida cloth size 11 because it easier to start with the larger space between the rows and columns.Try it today. It is very inexpensive and mega fun to do. This book provides some cute designs and a fairly good overview of materials and techniques. If you've never made a biscornu, you will learn the fundamentals from this source and you'll have a few nice patterns to practice your new-found skills. This is a very slim book, almost more like an upgraded pamphlet and I think the price is a bit high for what you get. However, if you don't care to troll the internet for free patterns and tutorials, this book will give you a place to start.

It was a described. Leisure Arts is hardly ever a disappointment. I had already found the directions on line before I got the book. The patterns are pretty, but I wish I had just stuck to the free online patterns and tutorials. I got just as musch from that, and the money could have been spent on materials!

This book has wonderful, easy to follow instructions.

Making Biscoru's is easy to follow, with photos and easy to follow instructions and free patterns.

There are some beautiful and unique pincushions in this booklet. I haven't made any of these yet, but have looked over the instructions and they don't seem to be that difficult. I have alot of projects to finish before I can start new ones, but I'm anxious to learn how to make these.

I have just finished making my first Biscornu from this book, and I'm very pleased with the result. Importantly the instructions are concise and clear, which is a must for any book showing you how to make and construct anything.It's a slim volume, but it does what it says on the cover. Recommended.

A great book for learning to do Biscornu. It includes good tips and suggestions. Has some very nice patterns in it.

Good, clear illustrated instructions. Biscornu making is a new thing to me and this book gives lots of iideas and patterns. Friends are buying this book too!

Don't be fooled into thinking this is a book, it is more of a pamphlet. There are a total of 32 pages. I was disappointed to say the least. I will give it 2 stars because some of the content in useful.
