This book is nerdy and devastating. Read it with a nice blanket around your shoulders, a trusted animal on your lap, or maybe your backup anxiety meds. You remember Star Trek the way you watched it when you were 12, and then everything you've been keeping in your ribcage will come gushing out. I hope it's cathartic for you.

Downright Depressing
This is presented as a funny book about Star Trek TNG. The reality is it's a chronicle of child abuse, towards which the author seems to take a callous approach. This is especially apparent in the end, when the author interviews the original writer, (now an adult) who is humiliated, hopeless, and in his own way, crying for help.I bought this as a birthday present for my cousin, who is also a TNG fan, but after reading it myself, am embarrassed I did so.

Great!!!
Both funny and emotionally stirring. This collection shows an inside look into Star Trek TNG (The Next Generation) while also showint the author's mind that delivers a pure, yet, sad life of a guy just trying to get through life through writing and their hobby of watching and analyzing Star Trek TNG.

Trekkies, bibliosmiacs, child abusers and victims of child abuse alike are sure to enjoy this funny (not funny) little book - I truly loved it!***If you're a cat lover - especially one with a penchant for firearms - don't miss Auburn's "How to Talk to Your Cat About Gun Safety: And Abstinence, Drugs, Satanism, and Other Dangers That Threaten Their Nine Lives"... PURE BRILLIANCE.

Must Read!
I LOVE THIS BOOK! I CAN'T STOP TELLING PEOPLE HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS BOOK! This book sucks you in by being hilarious and then transcends that and becomes beautiful also. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not read it. You don't have to like star trek, but if you do you will like it that much more.
