I'm pretty impressed with the kit.First let me say I've had a beard for years but always pretty short. Decided to grow it out and thought I better do better taking care of it and I wanted to ensure it looks good.The box: Wood box with magnetic stops to keep it closed. Its pretty nice, makes you not want to discard it. Mine is still on the countertop but I'm certain the wife will make me remove it soon. lolThe comb: Never used a wood comb but the design and quality are nice. Makes it easy to comb mustache and also straight down and not follow your neck.The brush: Also seems really decent quality. I've not used any other brush like this before. Seems to work better on the shorter length beard like on my sides rather than the longer section near and at my chin. Still that could be totally normal and some may say "that's why you have a comb" and I would agree... the comb works best there.The scissors: I haven't opened them. Honestly I trim with a trimmer so I doubt I'll use these. Still they are packaged separately and look decent.The oil: Non scented beard oil is exactly what I thought I wanted. Although now I wish I had got something scented (but that's a me thing not product). I've only been using this for a week and I guess it's fine. I haven't have any "wow" experience like some have where they "love beard oil" but my beard is only about 2-3 inches long so maybe when longer?? Also, it's a bit funny feeling to be using an eye dropper thing to get some drops on your hands...but whatever.The balm: I assumed this would be to assist with styling or whatever but I'm not seeing that. I could be way off. Still I use it daily and while my beard still tends to get some "flyers" throughout the day I would have thought this balm would have kept that from happening. Again, just my first experience with it so take it with a grain of salt because you may know better than I.For the price of this kit I think if this is your first step into beard grooming, it's a great start!I plan to keep the comb and brush, maybe the box, but get some oil and balm with a scent, maybe in a month or so.

I have been growing beards on and off for years. They always end up irritating and itchy. This usually prompts me to shave it off. This I decided to look into beard maintenance and eventually came across this product. I wanted an oil and balm that was unscented. I have never liked colognes or strong after shave lotion. When delivers I inspected the box and everything was packed perfectly. I was impressed at the amount of packing that secured the oil and tin of balm. The box looks very nice also. I used the beard balm after showering and the moisturizer in it really helped my skin and suppleness of the beard hairs. The dryness and itchy feeling disappeared. In the mornings I wash my face and apply the oil by massaging into the beard and then brushing it out and lightly combing. I love the brush as it gives a gentle feel to the beard. I like the comb also, but as I do have a small beard comb, I vacillate between my comb and the one supplied. I find I rarely have ro comb the beard out through out the day unless I touch my face for some reason. I mowed the yard today with a push mower and it was warm and sunny. I did not even notice the beard or had to scratch it. I will be keeping my beard for a very long time and hopefulliy will never shave again. I recommend this product and look forward to seeing how it is when the beard gets much longer. I love not having to shave.

I am taking advantage of being able to work from home during this Coronacrisis and decided to grow a beard. I have never had a beard and so the whole culture and everything about a beard are totally new to me. A co-worker told me I should get some beard balm or oil to help with growing the beard and managing the beard and so I turned to Amazon, as most of us do, and started searching. This product looked good and had good reviews, which is something I always look for before deciding to buy something, and so I ordered it.Amazon delivered, as promised, and I liked the box the minute I opened the package. It is a nice;y constructed wooden box and that alone is nice because it means I have a nice looking place to keep these items. I like the included scissors; they are long, they have that curved extension for your finger so you can do a professional trimming, and they cut well. I have only used them twice since I really want to let the beard grow a bit more, but they have been great when trimming the mustache hairs that were growing over my lip.I like both the beard oil and the balm; they make my skin and my beard softer and more manageable and the included brush and comb are really good quality items that I will surely use for a long time. The items are great, I like them, and I think it is a good value for what I paid. I recommend this item or product and would also consider other products from this company because none of it feels cheap. Good job!

The form fitting stiff foam insert to keep everything organized was a bit too tight around the brush bristles, so I trimmed it very slightly with a razor blade to not bunch up the bristles.Also, one of rhe screws holding the hinge fell out. No problem, a dab of wood glue and screw it back in.Theres a SOFT foam liner on the inside of the lid. This wouldnt let the magnet hold the lid completely closed. Its slightly ajar once you remove the plastic overwrap. Because I wanted it to completely close, I removed the lid lining and the lid now closes completely with room to spare. I also think it looks better showing off the wood instead of a piece of foam.The beard brush and comb seem to be very nice quality. The balm and oil are indeed scent free and a reasonable quantity of each.The scissors? Eh theyre alright but as a fan of knives and other things, these could be sharper for sure. They're certainly useable though, as is.

The scissors are one of the main reasons I bought this kit as there are lots of other kits that have inferior scissors, they're quality Japanese steel and barber style like the ones used in professional settings, they are full sized and strong, the connecting screw is a bit long so the two blades do not rest tightly together and move slightly, I'm not sure if that's by design but wish mine were tighter.All other items in the kit are great. Oil and balm is unscented and works well, bristle brush works perfectly (but feels a bit small in my hand), dual sided comb is quality sturdy wood and decent size (careful not to sit on it and break it like another reviewer did), and a nice wooden box which is smaller than I thought it would be. Also provides online "how to" references.

Utilisation depuis seulement quelques jours mais très agréable à utiliser. La brosse est douce et agréable, le peigne top pour l'entretien. Le Baume est vraiment agréable à utiliser mais surtout sans odeur ce qui est pour moi un vrai plus. L'huile assouplit et entretien un barbe douce. Le tout dans un super kit en bois super sympa.Vraiment content de mon achat, super idée cadeau en supplément!

la confezione è davvero ben fatta, legno con chiusura magnetica. La spazzolA ha la rigidità giusta e le forbici sono precise e tagliano alla grande. l'olio non ha un odore forte e ammorbidisce a dovere la barba. CONSIGLIATO!

Me ha gustado todo de este producto. Desde la cajita de madera en la que viene que es súper chula, a los materiales dentro.Este kit es genial para crear un ritual alrededor del cuidado de la barba. Abres la cajita, te "peinas" el bigote y la barba levemente con el peine, luego te pasas el cepillo que es súper agradable, ni demasiado recio ni demasiado débil y luego te echas un par de gotitas del aceite. No tengo mucha experiencia en aceite para barbas, pero este me gusta porque no tiene un olor demasiado intenso y la piel lo asimila fácilmente. El bálsamo no lo utilizo demasiado la verdad.A mí me ha gustado mucho.
