Nice set of loft stairs.
It's the second time I have ordered the same set of loft stairs. Had these installed in the previous house and when we moved I got the same ones installed in the new house. These are easy to install according to the builder and I love the fact that it's easy to pull down and close. Stairs are easy to unfold too. Very sturdy wood and I have not had a problem.I'm 5'4" tall and not have a problem with pulling the stairs down with the stick provided.

Sturdy and practicle.
The assembly instructions were easy to follow. The product has been installed in a new structure, and with electricians, roofers and insulation technicians going up and down it for nearly three weeks it will not see so much action again for many years. So far so good. I have to adjust the recoil springs as they catch on the mount bracket in ordinary use. This adjustment is very simple. I am satisfied with this product.

Great steady ladder
very pleased with this, superb value for money. Very steady, good clear instructions. A 2 man job atEast to fit, and one of these people needs to be in the trade, not something for DIY.

Decent build but ugly catch.
Looks practical enough but what's with the ugly catch?? Unfortunate place to skimp.

Loft ladder
Reasonable quality and a great improvement on my existing hatch. The instructions on fitting are rubbish, fortunately I am reasonably good at diy. A tip as I fitted it on my own I built it first on the ground to make sure all the holes and screws would be in the right place, then dismantled it. The carcass was the first item I fitted and then the rest, however fitting the springs had to be done by closing the hatch and setting up a block and tackle to pull the spring back far enough to slip it onto the uprights. Yes! it is possible to open the hatch from inside the loft.
