Great little fun toy drone. If you are interested in drones then this little chap is going to assist you learning the flight controls.A Little bit of getting used to flying it first off, but once you get the hang of the controls you'll be flying room to room. As this drone is so small i don't recommend you try flying it outside - it's light and the slightest bit of wind will affect it. It's an ideal toy for use at the home or annoying people at work by buzzing around the office! Saying that, i have flown it around the garden and it was great fun!Great for indoor fun! this drone is so light it wouldn't really break anything. During my time getting used to flying it i hit walls, doors, humans and pretty much everything else but nothing broken, hurt or killed. I was even impressed how the drone bounced off the wall if you got too close due to the soft propeller guards flexing. It makes indoor flying safe!In the box there is the drone, charging USB lead and the controller. There are even 4 spare propellers! The instructions aren't great english but you get the idea from it. One point i will raise is the charging instructions mention the light being red when charging and green when complete. It took me a few moments to realise this refers to the little LED on the USB charging lead -NOT on the drone - the lights on the drone do not come on when charging!Charging: The drone comes complete with an internal battery, the controller does not. Make sure you've got a pack of AAA batteries for the controller! I had an issue charging the drone from my computer's USB where no lights on the lead illuminated, but once i used a USB wall charger plug it worked perfect. The time for the drone to charge is about 30 mins. This will give you about 10 mins flight time.Controls: To be fair the controls aren't bad! standard stick layout for drones. There is 2 switches where your right thumb sits for heading mode and speed. The heading mode, i guess, would be useful for those people who get confused when its coming towards you as the stick control swaps from the configuration if you were flying away from yourself. Left then becomes right yaw and right becomes left. As a full size drone flyer it made me dizzy so i didn't use it. The speed setting puts the drone into kamikaze mode - make sure you have the room as this little fella moves quick!Build quality is surprisingly good! The propeller guards are soft enough to give you a bit of a cushioning when flying into things. The rest of the drone is built very well and doesn't feel like it would break. I've hit a few things and it's still in perfect condition. The additional propellers in the box are also great for a more destructive accident! The controller works well and is responsive - it's light in the hands and feels comfortable to hold.My only issues with the drone were as follows:1. The calibration before flight is tedious and it would be better if this was automatic. Having to repeat it when you crash is a pain but i keep reminding myself this is a TOY - it's not going to have the features a bigger drone will have.2. Altitude lock doesn't always make the drone hold altitude - also it doesn't take into account little drafts affecting height. Every so often my one decided to ascend or descend for no reason, but it was easy to control this with the left stick so no worries.Overall a great little toy for young and old to enjoy! Even my other half picks it up for a quick fly around the kitchen. The cats and dogs aren't too fond of it - our 2 dogs seem to think it's a noisy fly and bark at it! haha! We were thinking of setting up a little obstacle course to fly through - something for a rainy day inside!This would be a great gift for an older child or a young-at-heart adult (like myself) and the price is great for such a fun piece of tech!

This is an excellent drone for flying indoors or in a confined space.It was simple to set up, if you follow the instructions ( especially the yellow inserted sheet in the manual)Once configured, it was simple to fly with the slightest of movements.The drone does carry out some great flips and turns but these are not recommended for indoors.The drone itself is very small and light so I think it will not perform as well if outside ina breeze.The bonus with this drone is the fact it has three batteries.Small drones eem to run out of battery power just too quickly but with this one, you can change batteries and fly for longer.Well made, solid blades and protection all around it.A value for money toy for the younger flyer!

We bought a different drone to begin with for our 7 year old son but it was too complicated for him him to use and then the remote stopped working. This one is perfect for use - technical enough but not too complicated. He loves just picking it up and using it. The only thing is, like most of the drones, the charge runs out quite quickly - 15-20 mins I’d say. Quite quick to charge but you can’t charge it overnight or when you’re out as it’s not meant to be left charging after it’s full (think it takes about an hour).

I was wary that a cheap small drone could be utter rubbish. This is not.It is rightfully well reviewed online by other sites (t3) amongst others. It is a shame the model with a camera was out of stock as for a few £ more I think this would have been a fun extra but it's more important it flies well than has a camera so we went for this for our 7 year old over some others with cameras.It is great. It is light and has protected blades so it crashing into things around the house doesn't do any damage. It is robust and has had many crashes and still flies great. The 3 batteries are really good to get a decent amount of playtime from it. By rotating them on charge we seemed to have got about 30 minutes of play time from it by which time something else wants to be played with anyway.The controller seems well made and not the cheap rubbishy plastic some cheap remotes are made of.It can fly outside but as I think other reviewers have said unless it's calm wind conditions it isn't very easy to fly as it gets blown about.Only negative is that it seems to drift very slightly rather than hover in a perfectly still fixed position, but given this price point and who it is aimed at it doesn't matter at all. There is a fine tune function to adjust this but I haven't tried hard to change it.In summary if you're looking for a small indoor drone for kids to play with this is a really good option.Only negative is that it

Im ersten Moment dachte ich, die Drohne sei aber sehr klein. Das mindert aber in keinster Weise den Spaß an dem Gerät. Mein Sohn (5) und Neffe (10) sind gleichermaßen begeistert und konnten die Drohne steuern, die Tricks durchführen und landen. Perfekt für zuhause und absolut empfehlenswert! Der zusätzliche Akku sorgt dafür, dass man im Wechsel laden kann und für Stunden damit beschäftigt ist.

Mes fils de 6 et 9 ans savent l utiliser sans l aide d un adulteIl se recharge en 30 minutes. 2 batteries sont fournies avec le drone.Je vous conseille d en acheter d'autres (trouvable sur Amazon ;). ) Afin de permettre à votre enfant de jouer longtemps sans avoir attendre la recherche de la batterie (5 minutes de jeu/30 minutes de recharge)

First one I purchased wasn't responding as well as I had expected, but I was contacted by the vendor and they sent me a replacement.I am truly impressed with the customer service provided by Potensic! I have purchased and reviewed many products here on Amazon, but this has been by far the best experience ever!Now to the A20 review:It is fun to fly! Setting it up is easy, unlike other drones in this price range.It actually has a small "on/off" button on the rear of the drone located above the plug terminal. While this might seem trivial, it is a very nice feature. Other drones in this price range have no on/off switch and automatically turn on when you plug in the battery cable. Having the switch, in my opinion, prevents you from constantly having to pull on the battery cable to turn the drone on or off.The controller communicates with the drone quickly. That makes pairing and setup extremely simple. I seriously don't think it can get any easier than this!If you are new to drones, my suggestion is to first fly the A20 in a large indoor place. The rear of the drone shines a small red light, front has a light green light.In terms of flying, I found that it works quite well. The cool thing is that the round protectors surrounding the tiny proppelors protects it from most common impact damage. After a few landing/take-off practices I was able to land it on a small target every time!Speaking of landing, there is a small button on the controller that gently and automatically lands the drone. If you are flying and start to panic (thinking it is about to crash), just press that button and it will land gently! While I used this button several rimes when I was first learning how to use the A20, I now land it well using only the joystick controllers.In terms of battery life, it will last for around 5 to 6 minutes. While it would be nice to have the option of a spare battery, I'm ok with just charging it as it doesn't take very long to completely charge again.I work with several students and have let them use the A20, some have never flown a drone before. Within only a few minutes they are flying the A20 and controlling it very well! Compared to other drones I let them use, they all preffer the A20 for its simplicity of use and its responsiveness. I am in the process of starting a drone club for middle school students, and I am considering purchasing a few more A20s. The kids love them, they are easy to use, durable and safe to fly indoors!While I am very happy with the A20, I am even more impressed with the outstanding customer service provided by Potensic! I wish all other vendors on Amazon were as professional as Potensic!
