Turn Your iPad Into a MacBook
I've wondered how a keyboard would work with my iPad; if I'd like and use it. Recently, I've been using my iPad ever more frequently for work -- running Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Microsoft apps for iOS work well but it has seemed to me that a keyboard would be a big upgrade. It turned out that I also needed to replace the protective case for my iPad too, which sent me off on a search for the perfect solution. This setup is really, really cool! The keyboard pairs easily and works as you'd hope right out of the box. It has so many useful shortcuts right on the keyboard to raise/lower volume, adjust screen brightness, play, pause, etc. Also, it is backlit, which is nice in low light. It gives you several choices of various color combinations but I'm not a big fan of the multi-colored look. However, I really like the standard white back lighting. It's nice and I love using it. The keyboard tracks fast as if it's plugged into my iPad directly. The truly surprising feature that I didn't really think too much about when selecting a keyboard is the track-pad. I love using it! It is such a nice feature. When the keyboard is paired, you use the track-pad the same as a MacBook or any other laptop. Instead of an arrow icon on the screen, you see a single dot. But you point and click as intuitively as any other Apple computer or PC. It has been a game changer. Finally, the case is solid. Materials feel expensive and protect my iPad, front and back. The hinge is really robust and stays put in any position. The part of the case that my iPad snaps onto magnetically, also hinges to make the viewing/work angle just right. It is also very strong and allows me to angle my iPad to any fractional position. I just can't say enough good about it and highly recommend this to anyone one who has an iPad. It's an amazing value.

Keyboard Case
I have another keyboard case, but I was intrigued by the trackpad and stand in this case. I like that this case has a hinge, so your iPad actually stays propped up (kind of like converting it into a laptop). It feels a bit crowded or like the hinge should open more, but it doesn’t affect usability. It’s quite hefty, it’s going to add quite a bit of weight to your bag, but it’s going to sit securely on your workstation of choice. I like reaching for this case when traveling by train or plane for this reason - it’s not going to fall over on those tiny tables or during turbulence.

Nice keyboard, strong magnet, but not intuitive.
We have and use 2 iPad Air 5th generations... and this is the second case like this that we own. I love the strong magnetic attachment and the keyboard feel and function. I would prefer just solid keyboard light color options instead of rainbow - for solid light colors you only get blue. I seldom use the track pad - much easier to use a finger. The power button is not intuitive at all - there is no click or other response when pressed, and you have to DOUBLE tap it to power on and off. Why?! The keyboard does not auto-wake when the case is opened like my other case does for $10 more. Took me awhile to figure out how to power it on. I had to use the instructions which are poorly translated and hard to understand. Connecting to my iPad was easy enough. The power/charging indicator is only red - so if you are waiting for a green light when fully charged, you won't see it. It just turns off when fully charged, but it comes on when powered on for a bit, too. Leaves you wondering... is charged? Is it charging? Needs to charge? My other case is red when it needs to charge or is charging and turns green when fully charged. Overall, this case works well after you learn all of its little nuances and typing is easy on it. It turns the iPad into a mini laptop with limited viewing angles and is nice to use when doing a lot of writing, and the iPad just pops right off when you want to use it as a tablet. The materials and quality seem nice. For the price though, I think there are better options.

Secure hold, smooth typing, cool lighting
Secure hold, smooth typing, cool lighting:This iPad keyboard case is pretty well made and provides a very secure magnetic hold of the ipad while in use. The physical protectiveness of the case is good enough for casual use or travel but is too thin rely on for shock absorption for anything harder than a small fall or minor bumps. The keyboard is very smooth to type on and on the same level as most smaller laptops you'd use, with a responsive trackpad that works equally as well. The RGB lighting capabilities on the backlit keys is also very cool to look at and is ideal for gamers.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Impressive Keyboard Case, Strong Magnets and Excellent Typing Feel, Minor Accessibility Hiccups
I recently purchased this keyboard case for my iPad Pro 11 inch, and overall, I am quite impressed, though there are some accessibility pitfalls to be aware of.The magnets in this case hold my iPad very securely. Even when shaking the case upside down, the iPad stays in place, which is a significant improvement over my older Apple Keyboard Folio. The keys are a pleasure to type on, similar to those on Apple MacBook Air and Pro keyboards. They're quiet and well-spaced, allowing my fingers to naturally find the correct positions. The floating cantilever design is both a pro and a con. The hinge allows the case to open about 90 degrees, and the cantilever lets the iPad tilt further back, providing the perfect viewing angle. However, about a third of the iPad loses contact with the bottom of the case, which slightly weakens the hold. While it doesn't make the iPad prone to falling off, touching the bottom corners to tilt it can cause it to release. I wish the hinge could open further, but I understand that might make the case more likely to fall backward. The size of the case is just right to protect the sides of my iPad from minor bumps and scuffs. The Bluetooth connection is reliable and lasts quite a while, though the battery drains faster if the backlights are on.However, there are a few accessibility issues. The power button is touch-sensitive with no tactile marker, making it hard for a blind person like me to locate. This makes it hard to turn on, easy to accidentally turn off. Another common problem with many Bluetooth keyboards is that the FN key is not handled the same way as on Apple keyboards. For example, on an Apple Magic Keyboard, FN + CTRL + Option + Left-arrow makes my screen reader read the top of the window, but on this keyboard, the same combination translates to CTRL + OPT + CMD + Left, which isn't helpful. This issue eliminates some daily commands I use, and while I can remap these commands, it's something I wish were fixed.Lastly, I wish this case were lighter. With the iPad in it, it weighs nearly the same as my MacBook Air. While quality often comes with a bit more weight, there's no harm in wishing for a lighter option.I would recommend this keyboard to my sighted friends, but I'm reluctant to recommend it to my visually impaired friends due to the power button issue. If these limitations don't bother you, this keyboard case is a great choice.
