A simple solution to an annoying problem
These outlet stickers are such a simple solution to a problem that has been annoying me for a very long time. Every time I go to vacuum I get across the room and the cord will just drop out of the outlet shutting off the vacuum. Grrrr! Very annoying! I've been saying for years that I was going to replace the outlets but of course I never got around to it. Then I saw these outlet stickers and I thought these are so cheap its worth a try, but they probably won't work. Wrong! They work great! The stickers are super simple to stick onto the outlets and the whole process is done in seconds solving an issue I've been dealing with for a very long time. Not much else to say. If you have a problem with loose outlet connections buy these stickers. Stick them on your outlets and get on with the rest of your life because this problem will be solved.

Great for Garage Ceiling
In my garage there are ceiling outlets which are used for the garage door openers, a three outlet retractable power outlet cord, Wi-Fi garage door devices, a ceiling winch, bug zapper light and another four outlet power strip with a couple USB ports. Anyway, some of these have a tendency to loosen overtime. So, giving these a try. Installed them last weekend and so far so good. I Installed these over all four outlets in the ceiling. As you can see in my picture. The four outlet power strip only has prongs on one side of it. Therefore, in the ceiling the other side has a tendency to slip out. For this device I used this product and some additional double sided tape on the side with out prongs. The other outlet with the orange cord in the picture. I've only used these. That white two prong adapter would have a tendency to work itself loose over time from using the retractable cord which is on swivel and pulls somewhat on the plug.

They work, but.....
We live in a home built in the 60s, and it was last updated in the 90s. As such, we have our share of loose outlets that need to be replaced. In the meantime, we've been looking for something that might help the issues. There are plastic versions of these outlet covers that fit into the outlet like a child-proof cap would, but a lot of those reviews talk about how they prevent a full connection between the outlet and the prongs on the plug because the plastic tabs go in so far. These stick-on covers don't go into the outlet, just sit on top, so I hoped they would be a good alternative. Well, they are and they aren't. Yes, they DO help make the outlet more snug for the plug, but they are a tad too thick. It something I never noticed, but not all electrical cords have the same length of metal prongs on the plugs. Who knew? So while these have helped in a couple of locations because apparently those prongs are longer, they don't work well with others. We have a three-prong surge protector using one of these, and the power connection goes away if it's bumped and jostled the teeniest bit. When the prongs are compared to a different cord and measured, the prongs on the surge protector are a hair over a millimeter shorter. These stick-on covers are made from rubber and flexible, but not squishable like stick-on foam could be. If the rubber were a fraction of a millimeter thinner, they'd be perfect. Nothing sticks INSIDE the plug, just outside. The prongs of the cord you plug in push through the rubber membrane and that's what holds the plug in place. The outlet openings of these covers are not pre-cut. The plug edges cut/tear through this very thin membrane. Nothing going in to the outlet except the actual plug was the main reason I picked these covers. The company name is on these covers in raised lettering, and I wish it were recessed. Even this little amount could make the difference in every plug working the first time. You can't use these stickers with recessed plug outlets, either. If they aren't flat across the face, this will also cause the plug prongs to not make the electrical connection to complete the circuit. My husband is going to try and shave a thin layer from the top of one of these covers to see if that makes a difference, even if it's just taking the raised lettering off. Our outlets are flat-faced, so at least these stickers are compatible in the right way.I also don't like how they market these as making an outlet childproof because they don't keep kids out. They are easy to pull off compared to actual solid plastic covers that fit very snugly into an outlet. Those kind of protective covers are hard for tiny fingers to pry off. Not so with these, which also makes them a choking hazard if your child tends to think everything is edible. I'll admit that even a specifically designed safety plug cover is a potential choking hazard, but at least those are made in such a way to make them a lot more difficult to remove. If you don't have kids though, these stick-on rubber covers are a good option for loose plugs. So while these stick-on rubber covers help make older, loose outlets more snug, they do have limits. They aren't a long term solution because even these will stretch and need to be replaced. If your outlet is old and not one of the newer, safer GFCI types, they should be replaced anyway. In the interim, these outlet covers can help keep loose plugs more secure as long as they are used on the right style of outlet.

Works Great, even on deep plugs
What a great idea. I rent, so I didn't want to go around replacing receptacles and giving my landlord free money so I went with this and it works fantastic. I mostly tried it on two-prong bricks because those seemed to have the most trouble and it worked great. Keeps them upright easily. Even though the description said it is not compatible with the deeper outlets, I tried a few and there was very little issue. You do have to make sure it's in all the way so that depth for connectivity strings is pretty good but it still is better than plugs falling out and not working anyways. Great and easy fix to a super annoying problem.

Works well
Finally! A solution for the loose outlet in my bedroom. I got tired of the plug falling out of the outlet when I was using my blow-dryer or vacuum. These are very easy to install and work well.

These work remarkably well! I'm pleasantly surprised.
While it doesn't actually fix a loose electrical socket, it is a feasible work around. I first tried this on an outlet that has a USB charge adapter plugged into it. As the design of these things put a lot of angular stress on the plug (poor design) they tend to sag, putting more stress on the outlet. These work like a foam cushion holding onto the prongs as they go into the outlet, and they adhere to the outlet to keep them in place when you unplug.I do have worries about fire hazard with these, as part of them go into the outlet, but so far that concern seems unfounded. It is a cheaper and less shocking method than replacing the outlet entirely.

Works well
I so love these! I have been in my house for 22 years. During those years, my husband has managed to change several loose sockets so they would be secure. Several, but not all. It's frustrating to have to keep stopping vacuuming to re-plug in the cord. With these, the problem is solved. I should have ( carefully ) used rubbing alcohol to prepare the socket surface for proper adhesion. I didn't know these existed or I would have gotten them much sooner.
