Natural Alternative Late Spring Lawn Fertilizer 19-0-3

I wanted to make my lawn natural. I started last year by using corn meal gluten for pre-emergent weed killer. I also started using Natural Alternatives for my lawn in fall, then winter. I used corn gluten meal in the spring and Natural Alternatives a few weeks ago. I know their reputation is good, that's why I started with their fertilizer.My lawn, although not perfect, I still have a few weeds I take care of, but it is the nicest looking lawn in our neighborhood! It's green and thick. So far, I can't see using another fertilizer. I am very pleased. It's easy to use, it doesn't appear to burn grass spots like I've had with chemicals.I have animals in the area and a couple of feral cats and I no longer worry about the chemicals I had used. Helping the environment used to be a concern, no worries now.A separate note, Natural Alternatives "salt" for winter, if you need it, is awesome. It says it's safe for animals and won't burn grass. All that is true but it is the BEST ice melt around. I've never had the ice melt and continue to work better than it does with this stuff. Aside from the safety they claim, it is just great stuff.
