This set of floor mats is a big step up from the OEM mats that came with my BMW 740. The fit in the car is perfect - installation took about a minute per mat and basically just meant you run the seats forward and back on each side and drop them into place. No velcro, clips, or additional hooks are required, which are common in mats of lower quality. The backing of the mats, which they call "Friction Claws," grips the floor of the car very solidly. Even if you slam on the brakes and drag your heel across the mat, it won't go anywhere. It's honestly like the mats are glued down, even though you can pick them up by just lifting them out of the car. It makes vacuuming them at a car wash very simple and doesn't drop dirt or sand into the car. Another nice feature is that between the carpet layer and the backing is a waterproof layer that keeps liquids from soaking through into the floor. Just pull the mat up, holding the edges up, and scoop liquid and ice out of the car and dump it the first time you spill a big soda.If your passengers like to go barefoot, they will love these mats. They feel great underfoot, like high quality home carpeting. They also look good - at least as good as the OEM mats and maybe a little better, as the black is darker and the texture nicer. But since the carpet is SO dense, you're better off removing them from the car and slapping them on the back if you need to remove a lot of sand before vacuuming them. I got that recommendation from a guy at the car wash I frequent - and it was a good one.My only negative reaction came to the metal manufacturer's logo that is near the back edge of each mat. But I discovered they were easy to remove with a screwdriver, and didn't leave a visible trace.Overall, these are great, and get my full recommendation. They are less pricey than inferior OEM mats, and offer great comfort, perfect fit, and easy cleanup.

These are definitely nice mats that are not cheap in any way. They fit well in our BMW. That is paramount is getting the right fit for your vehicle. This was Taylor made and adds a nice level of protection. The only con is that our interior is a dark gray as was our old floor mats. These aesthetically look fine but the strong black definitely clashes some and not the optimal look like before..

So I had gotten this for my Family member who had ordered X5 and unfortunately by the time I gifted him and the feedback he told me that its missing Front Driver Floor Mat, I was just not happy to hear it but due to the amount of time already gone I could not do anything except be disappointed and feel embarrassed as it was gift I had given. I would NOT recommend this :(

These carpet floor mats are very nice.They feel soft, and are not the "Spiky" nylon like some others.The black color matches well with the interior.The front mats fit well. They are not the "3d" contoured mats, but they still look nice.The rear mats do not fit very well.They are a little too wide and they go up the sides. I don't mind this, but the area around the seatbelt, they left a lot uncovered floor.The purpose of floor mats is to protect the floor, and these mats don't do a good job for the second row.
