Lion Brand Yarn Company 1-Piece Wool-Ease Yarn, Wheat

As I unwound this yarn because it was so thin, it came un-raveled in pieces. Being a longtime knitter and trusting Lion Brand, this was a huge disappointment. It is like it was rewound in some unusual way, not common to yarn skeins. I tried to rewind it into how I could use it but the pieces came off in about 24" individual lengths from the skein.I would not buy from this seller again.

My favorite go to discount yarn. I like to try new things with this yarn before committing to high priced yarns. It works up well and makes nice hats, gloves and scarves. Not a lot of wool in it so it is pretty soft and easy to wash. I like natural wool but it takes a lot of extra care. I've made numerous hats for my children and as gifts from this yarn. It can be a little loosely wound but not as slippery as some acrylic. I like that it does has a little wool content also:).

I was looking for a simple, inexpensive, good quality yarn to knit a baby sweater, and that is precisely what I found in this yarn. It knits up beautifully on both size six and size eight needles, and holds its shape well when blocking. It's incredibly soft, and the color is true to the picture (at least, the Wheat Color is). My next project is going to be a crocheted blanket, and this yarn will be my go to! Would definitely buy again!

This is lovely yarn, with a pretty "natural look" and a good feel which it owes to the wool blend It gives you the warmth and feel of wool with much of the convenience of synthetic yarns. I am using it for a scarf. It works well and would be a good choice for many projects, just follow the easy care directions and you will be happy with the results
