Disappointing read
Although I started this novel very enthusiastically as I greatly admired Minier's/Servaz's first novels, I feel that the ambiguous relationship between Servaz and Julien Hirtmann, carried through what must be at least 3 novels, is now becoming tedious and, in this plot, frankly unbelievable to the extreme.I became intensely frustrated with this novel which I felt was far, far too long. As the Norwegian detective only spoke English I found it difficult to see how certain conversations in the book could have taken place. I'm afraid I jumped quite a few pages towards the end. Definitely time for Hirtmann to disappear and a new nemesis for Servaz, please before it's too late. Very disappointing.

A good read.
An excellent book, it is recommended to have read all the previous books in the series to fully appreciate the story. Très bon livre mais il vaut mieux avoir lu les autres ouvrages de la séries pour l'apprécier pleinement.

The theme is a little exhausted
Does not reach the same level as the previous "Servaz books": the plot is not as consistent and the language is not as refined
